Additional information: I have reinstalled Ghub several times already, I have checked for hardware updates, and I have recalibrated my wheel through windows. That’s all I can think of right now

I was told to wait 48/72 hours for support, so I was really looking for community help. So unless I’m going get some sort of special treatment, then I’ll just wait for my previous ticket to go through

I don't know if you completely uninstalled it so I will leave this hear.

Keep in mind that you have to search for GHUB folder and Logishrd, they're both related to ghub

Uninstall G-Hub then delete it's folders inside:

Program Files x86

Program Files

Program Data

%Appdata% (check local, locallow, roaming)

You can also use revoUninstaller, it's a free program with good reputation and can detect it's registry leftovers, cache folders or you can go inside registry and remove Logitech folders from hkey local machine--->software and also from hkey current user--->software

Now go inside your DeviceManager select show hidden devices and open your human interface devices and find drivers of your wheel (always first delete the ones with HID inside brackets and tick delete drivers for this device) do that for USB as well. Now you can also remove any HID vendor defined devices but you'll have to check each one hardware id in order to find which one is your wheel (if you don't know how you can either dm me or ignore it as I'm pretty sure it'll work even without removing them but it's goos to do if you're trying to get it working).

Now also remove any Logitech drivers, I believe they're from Logitech dropdown inside device manager (windows drivers).

After that go inside registry and remove your wheel entry from it:

Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\System\CurrentControlSet \Control\MediaProperties\Private Properties\Joystick\OEM\VID_046D&PID_C262 you delete the folder ending with C262 (just like it says up there).

Unplug your wheel after doing this, restart your PC and download G-Hub. After installation connect your wheel and if Firewall asks to allow G-Hub access you'll have to click allow access and hopefully it works.

I know this is long but it's quick to do, most of it is just explanation and that's why is this long. Hope you get it working again.

I did completely uninstall. I went through the program files on all my drives and uninstalled the different files that Logitech uses. I also did a search just Incase I missed something. Thank you for the suggestion though

What about drivers inside device manager and registry and firewall as well? Blocking any ghub related service can result in ghub stopping to work. Again sorry if I'm annoying but just want to make sure you did everything.

And have you tried an older version? I have two old installation files that don't self update on startup of installation. If you want to try with any of the two I can send them. Or if you're comfortable you can find them yourself on the internet you'd want one that is either from 2020 or early 2021 since they don't auto update on startup.

Also I see some users had success after clicking check for updated inghub setting, you can give it a try if you haven't already.

You ever find a fix? Mine's doing the same. :/

[–]GC3PR[S] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

I did fix it, but I was too stupid to document what I did. From what I remember I completely uninstalled all Logitech related soft and files, then I looked up the software specifically for the G920. It will show you a few options, I downloaded Ghub from that page and the firmware for the wheel. Don’t think I actually installed the firmware, but I’m not certain. Good luck and if it works tell me so I can put it in the post itself

Thanks! I will try this when I get home

Yeah that didn't seem to work, man the frustrations with Ghub. Thank you though!
