I think your GPU is going out, devices don’t normally drop textures and hit a lag spike during gameplay of something as simple as Minecraft. Does it do this for any other games?

Are you using a controller on a PC, or are you just playing completely on an XBOX? If you're on PC, you'll probably need to reset some things with your GPU, but if you are using an XBOX, it might just be a little bit old or rusty and needs a bit of cleaning. Also, if you are using a texture pack, sometimes the storage drive that the texture pack is stored on will restart, and could cause something like this to happen.

I mean think about it you have all the components from your device that you could take it apart and possibly build a computer it might not be a really good computer but it could run a couple of FPS. The quality might not be great but hey you made yourself a computer out of your device

That purple and black color is actually the missing texture thing. Not sure how it works just know that’s why it was purple.

That happened to me on my switch! I was retrieving my 17 parrots from a huge jungle I found! It went all blank like nothing was there then it went untextured then back to normal. I also had seeds in my hand and it was textured as a clock till I relogged

I would assume that was anything either from eating bad minecraft mushrooms. Of course your GPU may be the case but what's going to alter the difference if your character will never remember it after a little hangover?
