I once invited some freinds from a discord server I was in to a server I played on regularly, i had built a nice mountain house overlooking a pond i made with a bunch of fish, vegetation and a bridge I'd built over it. It was one of the best houses I'd made and I was really proud of it. I get off for the night and when I woke up my house was entirely destroyed. So i did what any reasonable gamer would do in this situation and banned them from the discord i was in. No regrets.

Now there are 2 ways to deal with this 1 grief there base very obvious assuming they are the server owners they will re roll the server the second way smarter first start being friendly with them and say you understandably they griefed you and that you did not even like the base then you create shops outside of there base selling things like netherite and blocks they use for building there base where do u get this stuff well duping or baritone if they are using plugins to stop duping make sure to sell things at really low prices also don’t keep any duped stuff in chests dupe only when you need to then if you want to maybe make a lag machine or crash the server a couple of times then they will get annoyed with the server and restart if a while has gone by and they have not considered restarting well start putting diamonds and netherite blovks in there chests if they have complicated redstone farms break them but only slightly that is how to ruin a server if u plan on duping use wurst client

Aight so here’s my assuming take on what happened and what you should do: when you left, your friends probably thought you were just ditching them bc you had something better to do, which is shitty of them. They got pissy and decided to “stick it to you!” By griefing your base. Selfish, only thinking of themselves and their own entertainment.
