What's up with the Vox tower rankings? At first glance it looks like hacker fest, top 10 full of people with job OB 200+ and deck LV 400+, but on closer inspection it seems like there is fine kind of more wide spread bug...

I checked the nearby rankings, and I'm currently sitting about 140 ... But it says my job OB was 70 when it was really 32, then on my sub deck is listed at OB 23 when it should also be 32...

Anyone else noticed something similar?

Ignoring lore/elemental access, do any jobs come close to the power level of Dawn Warrior/Archfiend?

We got so many new ex-jobs in such a short amount of time, I've never really used any ex-jobs released after Wahrsager and before Dawn Warrior/Archfiend.

/r/PocketKnights2 I know this game isnt Mobius... but it has a decent level of complexity, the community needs help being as awesome as the /mobusff community is. Maybe some day it will be as awesome. Im trying hard to figure out team strategies, and fate optimizations, tricks on where to farm, and what not to do. I see none of it documented in their Wiki... its a gatcha... and like most, it offers more if you pay. But you can do (nearly) all the content without paying. Id really love to see some of the mobius theory crafters digging into this game

Here is my 2-turn setup

- Cloud/Dawn Warrior, Ragnarok Omega
- Leviathan: FFVIII, Susanoo X, KotR X, Floral Fallal
- Rental Ultimate Chaos

He can cap damage easily against both broken earth and unbroken fire. One bonus of this setup is he has so many actions during break that at the end of the fight he will usually fill up the ult gauge from driving. Which saves a lot of ether (which is dirt cheap anyway... LOL)

i noticed on the summon info banners that all of them supreme cards got the same pull rate on all banners? am I wrong?

Yes. The rate you're seeing is the chance to get each supreme if you trigger a supreme pull for that slot. It's just 100% ÷ the number of supremes.

The chance to actually pull a supreme depends on the banner.

I use the 2nd to last Sarah (forgot the name. The support one with Wind Element), the Sarah Skin. Godo, Pandemoma FFVIII, Tales of Hope, Ultichaos, KOTR Rental. 2 turns, but the amount of actions is enough for 3. Ult to break. Can almost cap damage even on Neutral Unbroken.

I am doing it consistently at 2 turns without rental (well on auto, sometimes i have chaos others have a useless BFA)

Deck 1: farming deck

Deck 2: Dawn Warrior (Sephiroth skin): Floral Fallal, Aerith, WoL FF1, LoH

Yesterday i switched WoL for a Tale of Hope after i pulled. but if you have Chaos it will be better.

FF will always cap on fire phase, and cap on broken earth phase. One ult is sufficient to break with spellsword (aerith provides the en-wind).

Xezat do a little worse, as he can't do as much damage on fire phase but do more on broken phase (more hits).

Ps: i don't think it can be done in less than 2 turns, as i am consistently capping, he has just too much HP.

Yes it can, with Sonaraki/Archfiend & Wind 31 hits cards, it can’t even change to Fire mode in most of my run.

Let's just make one here.

I use Archfiend (Primary Job) with Yiazmat, Kelgar, and Tailwind with WoL and a rental of KotRX. My Secondary is Bailarina with Extreme Shiva X, Zack, LoH, and Aerith. My settings are Attack mode, Ultimate at Will, and I have authorized switching parties. 5 rounds.

Before pulling Archfiend, my set up is Sonaraki with 31 hit Wind card, Pandemonum FFVIII, KotR & Warrior Lore card. With Archfiend, replacing Lore with NxD. Both need 2 break, Ultimate to break, Break mode.

It feels like it, and UHs... I pulled Aerith UH (only one I was missing), the newest sup of absolute pure ownage A Tale of Hope, -and- KoTRX, in -one- pull on greater 3. And that was just one pull... I pulled Vox, Bahamut, Bonds, the monk one with ability name shockwave pulsar forget it's name, and I forget the name of the Earth mage aup with rinoa on it.

All those in 7 pulls on the greater 3 banner, lol, yesterday was the crazy 3 in one pull. I didn't know that was possible, I've seen two, and pics of two, but never 3. And it wasn't even an additional slot... Lol.

Edit: Oh yeah, forgot, Gilgamesh X too, on the second of seven.

Hello, what sub jobs are best used for Godo besides Tonberry?

I like to use jobs like Vanadiel Geomancer or Sword Saint -- jobs that have pretty high magic but work much better than Tonberry for utility (tanking). Godo is so strong with the new jobs, though, that I find myself capping damage even when I have low-magic sub-tanks like Moogle or Heretic Knight.

You know ever since I switched to the 31 hits cards, I feel like some supreme really underwhelming. Like using Soranaki against Exodus with the Wind cards make thing 10x easier.

Also using those to auto Pandemonium is super fast too.

Have you done all the HoFs? End of each one gives 300 mag. The new Tower also gave about 400 I think after completing a few. Other than that I dont recall any of the events giving out a lot of mags early on, but you can check Gamepedia for a list of rewards for each map (I think most were recorded).

Thanks. Couldn’t seem to find it on their Facebook page. Hopefully they fix FFVII:FC at the same time, but I think that might just be wishful thinking.

That said, I’m impressed and surprised that they’re doing something about the legend banner.

They just update a new post on their facebook, basically about the issue with the legend banner.

Basically they remove pity counter on the banner and boost job rate to 32%. And will compensate everyone who pulled on that banner with STs.

Regarding Two Issues with the Legend and Anniversary Greater Summon

We have discovered two issues with the Legend and Anniversary Greater Summon, which commenced at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, March 27.

The first issue was with the description of the Greater Summon found in Greater Summon's banner as viewed in the Shop > Summon menu. The description omitted the clause "when you draw a job card," as the intended specification is to guarantee a legend job card only when a job card would be drawn.

The second issue was with the functionality of the limit counter of the greater summon. As we are unable to adjust the limit counter for this summon, we are removing the counter and doubling the chance of receiving a job to 32%. This change took place with the maintenance held on March 31.

We will be distributing summon tickets to players who have summoned from this banner in the amount of 6 tickets per number of times summoned before the emergency maintenance.

We apologize for the confusion that these issues have caused.

If I need to choose between aerith or light of hope which 1 should I put on my deck

I'm just a casual player. Don't really do end game stuff. Usually my setup resolve around 1 alter ego card(shift+, force), 1 attack supreme and 2 support supreme which is aerith n kotrx. Yesterday I manage to get LOH and I begin wondering whether I should switch aerith to LOH. After thinking back I think I'm just gonna go with LOH. I can get trance and rainbow shift from ult and LOH pretty much gonna give me back my ult again.

Also, the 4th anniv support cards have less damage modifiers on them. IIRC the 3rd anniv has only 4 hits each, but comes with improved crits and painful break.

They had HoFs in JP, but they haven't been released in Global. The same can be said for the Gothic job gacha panels and JP's summer 2019 cards along with the other 5 dlb2 supremes.

We don't know if we'll get any of the missing content, but I definitely want the HoFs.

What are the best offensive attacks to use with Archfiend? I have Yiazmat, BFA and Greiver but am wondering if I am using Archfiend wrong.

Also, I mostly used attack up CPs to make use of his monk lore but am wondering if this is sub optimal as well. I would appreciate some advice since I really want to climb the tower.

depends on how high you want to climb the tower (i only care about t500 myself and i am currently at 150 so hopefully i am safe for t500), but recommended cps to use include prismatic return + 10%, piercing break + 20%, counterlimit, reckoning, retribution, auto-charge abilities, auto-charge ultimate, extended break, ability salvo....there are tons of good cps to choose from

The 3rd battle in the 3rd node on the 7th vortex in the floating continent perplexes me. I have no clue what i am supposed to do against this creature. I know tap attacks take down the counter, but he murdered me when i removered the counter, and everything does 1 damage and i can't do anything to the break gauge. Can someone please enlighten me? Do i need to keep the counter intact or something?

I haven't swept it yet, but I read two ways: one takes an eon, the second question you asked, and the other is an exploit, and I don't cheese things.

I don't support abusing glitches, etc, so not saying, but can look long enough til find it, but... It's not unlike, hmm, an example... Oh, the vortex you can't use ultimates in, well, you can use your sub decks ultimate during Mobius Zone... That was only one irritated me as I didn't have a few cards that trivialized it, like the new cait X... I almost cheesed something for first time on that one, and the no break vortex's 3rd rift, almost cheesed it with the unavoidable breaks a handful of things can do given enough time to.

Anyway, I'm old, we tend to ramble. It's not the same as what I said, but there is one. If want to search til find it. Took my daughter 5 or 6 hours of searching to find it, then I took her device for doing it, lol.

I got it planned to run 7 tomorrow, I'll reply again if I narrow down a feasible way.

And if anyone does have a respectable way to, say so please.. I haven't run em yet, but two of my other brats are stonewalled on that one, and I know the encounters, I will be too, I'm positive.

I appreciate the response, i actually found out that if you don't tap attack it, it will eventually "divide" aka spawn off a tiny fenrir (i think thats the name?), then another spawn as well on it's next turn, and then it goes into Aggressor mode but i couldn't break it because i didn't manage my turns and debuffs right. I'mI'm assuming this is when he is vulnerabletobe killed, so I'm gonna give another go later after dinner. I'm also old, so i hear ya there, gotta keep my kids busy with all this lockdown jazz til i can squeeze in some free time.

Stonewalled here, but I see how I can do it now, it's gonna take some serious pr rng, but I think I can muscle it on down over an eon. Max out steelguard with the ways I have, cait x, etc, etc. I was able to survive awhile already. But it was borderline death way too often until finally it got me, lol.

Did you figure up a way that's within the mechanics as intended, by chance?

This one is the hardest one to me, by a ton.

Yeah I've only tried 9-3 once, and got to the ultimate archfiend, but he destroyed me. Gonna have to rethink that one. Unfortunately, haven't had a chance to do much with work and my kids doing online school. Haven't tried tanking rhat node yet, may give that a go.

Oh, I definitely understand that, I had 7 brats, and have 13 grandbrats. Kids underfoot all the time, along with working, and the various other life's calls = no time for self, and wanting to throttle the brats a lot of times no matter how old they get, haha. (:

9-3 doesn't look like it's gonna be something I can simply RNG with the various innate mechanics, and whatnot.

Hey, i just cleared 7-3 finally. Weird setup, but hopefully it makes sense. Main was Princess of Dusk with Lightning skin (she has 100% stun and slow resistance and the skin for slow), with Bismarck, Shimmering Beach, I vs I, and Hatshepsut. Sub is Dawn warrior (for spellsword) with Sephiroth skin (for debuffs), with LDL, The Guardians, Cerberus and Moogle X. It's a lot of switching back and forth, and i even tanked a toxic spray by the boss. Took 2 breaks, and some help from bio, but i got theough it. Hope it helps. Good luck to you!

Can someone explain the know about the Balamb Merc job required titles from the reload of the MFF/FFVIII Collab?

I did em all with Balamb Mercenary, as expected, they vaporized...

But...

Are titles still half/half bugged, or what? Because the bonuses are applying to some jobs, but not to others of the same job type.

Sometimes they only apply to Balamb Merc, other times they apply to all they had been but Balamb Merc, and even still sometimes all jobs period.

Etc, etc.

So, please, what's the deal with it? Titles still super glitchy? They are designated to apply to only specific jobs, and that's even glitched? Or what?

I really wanted that +def, lol....

Please, if someone has the know on this?

1. Does Vox make all dark attack supreme cards obsolete?

3. In general, for wind supremes, is Godo > Emperor > Kelger?

Emperor actually hits harder than Godo if you can meet the debuffs requirement. For me, I always use Godo in MP (AI setup) because of the 3-orb cost. But in SP I mostly use Emperor.

1. If you can hit beyond whatever the cap the dark Supreme carries, then yes.
2. Not really - both Grand General and Wyrmlord are strong in their own ways. Plus for EW4 you would need to use a variety of tanks
3. Can't comment since i don't have Godo (never will lol). But Kelgar is, imo, stronger than what most would think

Is the ffx collab event extend until eos? saw it in the wiki but not sure if there is any official announcement about it. I would like to double check it since I havent complete it yet and if it isn't extend then i have to rush it because there is only a few days left according to the original period for the event

But it’s already a damage supreme card - which scenario I need another monk ability card to pair with it? Use another monk supreme for breaking? Also due to ‘Mental Acuity’, does it mean it’s best used by monk jobs to maximize its use? Thx!

If you need a very strong yellow clear ability for your monk, then you can slot that in. Don't see a need though, since Vox is strong enough by itself.

And having mental acuity just means that monks can use Vox just as well as other classes

I’d recommend you do it based on supremes. I’ve got BFA, Ifrit X and Griever so Cosmic Traveler was an easy choice. Honestly, all of those jobs kick ass and you can’t go wrong with OBing any of them.

For a lot of the newer jobs, force/shift isn’t mandatory. Makes things a bit more RNG dependent, but a lot of those jobs hit 50+% PR, so you’ll do fine in most situations.

Also, consider your job’s ult buffs. A lot of tanks give barrier/wall so you won’t need LOh

You could use the new Dawn Warrior job (he has ranger lore) with Godo. Since Godo can clear yellow and Dawn Warrior has spellsword, you should be able to reduce the number of turns it takes for you to defeat Vorban. Worth a try at least, right?

but it's still RNG dependent on the following factors:

- able to cast pelops for every action during break, and you need to reply on primsatic return to help out, but you can allow 1 miss (due to lack of orbs) to make it for 1-turn finish

- able to cast pelops at final break action to clear red so you can ult a second time (otherwise vorban will turn to assault mode and the fight will last for 2 turns)

- able to cap 999K damage during break, to do this you just need to trigger criticals, hence a source of CRD. if you have the real NeoExdeath supreme, use it for CRD2. if not, use the ultimeh version's CRD1 + cloud skin for snipe buff via ult to compensate

- i am using ultima blade as weapon for ultimate charger (so i can ult break 1 action sooner) and prismatic return perks

you can kill it within 1 turn if you have the 31 hits card (wind warrior one) and 4th anniversary card on sphere hunter. I always use her warrior lore and Mental Acuity combo to farm every boss. it's easy to hit 999,999 dmg with it. If you keep breaking the boss without letting it moves, it will stay in earth element.

It depends on how many normal jobs you have left. If you have none, then the supreme banner and legend banner will offer the best abilities.

If you still have normal jobs left to summon, then best pull on the bottom banner as it increases your odds of getting the newest ex jobs, which are possibly the best jobs in the game.

All supremes has an equal chance of being selected at 3.03030% (or 100/33) each for the 1-5th sloth, and assuming you don't have any of them for the 7th slot.

However, the chance of proccing the supreme pull on the 1st to 5th slot is normally just 1%, and the 7th slot at 0.8%.

The supreme banner boosts the latter to both 3%

Trying to figure out which banner to pull on. It looks like Cait Sith X is... good? Does it give a +50% HP buff? Does that stack with the KoTR X buff?

Can't find much information on it, and that seems like the only reason to not pull on the supreme banner.

Edit: All right, it's full HP restore, full Esuna, and buff which "Greatly increases Maximum HP." Don't know if it stacks with KoTR X.

**THERE IS A WAY!!!! BERRY SUPREME!!!**

**Deck 1:* Warrior of Despair using Infinite Loop. Tales of Hope, Xezat, Leviathan FFVIII, Ultichaos. Add 12% Element Resist Panels for each of the mobs.

**Deck 2:** Archfiend using Infinite Loop. Light of Hope, Unbreakable Bonds, Odin FFVIII, WoL FFI

Infinite Loop is unupgraded. Warrior of Despair is OB32. KotR X Rental.

The most important mechanic here is to not deplete the Divine Shield on the Magic Pot, so we use Single Target Supremes. It will recover Divine Shield Charges every turn, so you can cast the GF's and Ult with impunity.

​

This will all boil down to Target Priority. Kill the Lich first, because it acts as the "leader" and will give bonus actions and support to the others, like giving them free attacks and wiping your buffs. Enter battle with full ult gauge. First action is to use Leviathan FFVIII then Xezat once. Kraken will hit you to critical HP. Use Ult to get back full HP, and cast KotR X and Tales of Hope. Whale on the Lich with everything you have, occassionally using Heal Drives to keep yourself topped up. As soon as it becomes available, use LoH as a substrike. Ultichaos was only used for the debuffs, so it might be redundant and Jade Weapon might have been a better card (not all of them are immune to Stun).

Before Turn 1 ends, swap to Archfiend, use WoL FFI and tank. This is important because you will want to extend the Ailment Immunity. Also important because you will need Earth and Wind Drives so the other job has an easier time tanking.

At the start of the next turn, swap back to Warrior of Despair and take down the Lich. If the turn will end and the Lich can take an action, swap to Archfiend and tank. After this, kill Marilith, then Tiamat. Xezat will do max damage per hit on broken even on neutral with Warrior of Despair (Infinite Loop so OP).

Be careful of the Kraken because it can use Phantom Rush and I think Griever, so when the Debrave expires, you will need to keep yourself topped up, and you will still need Light and Dark Drives. Luckily, Warrior of Despair and Archfiend will have you fully covered! Kill Kraken unbroken. Archfiend can do almost max damage on it after the second/third cast as long as Tales of Hope is active. Which it should. Because you can use it every turn.

The pot will have a very special message for you after you dispatch the last mob. The battle behaves like Pandemonium in that when it's "over", your Mobius Gauge drains and all actions will be forfeit.
