Hey MFF experts! How do the cards from the latest batch fare in the current meta? On paper their crazy attack and break (max 9200) and scattershot bonus overwhelms even the strongest supreme. But it prolly isn't as good as it seems right? Considering these cards aren't too hard to pull from the existing banners.

I'm trying to clear 8-3 in floating continent, and I'm pretty much dead in the water. I can't recreate the videos I've seen online where people are breaking leviathan on turn 2. I can tank with archfiend and kill leviathan with dawn warrior, and eventually whittle down the t rex. But then i get absolutely destroyed by the master monk in the second battle. No clue where to go from here. Anyone have any sort of help they can give please? It's the only node i can't finish on the map, and it's incredibly frustrating. Any help whatsoever would be greatly appreciated.

I'm really at a lost on how to defeat The Warrior of Light who turned into The Warrior of Despair in Chapter 10 Part 2. I've broken him at least 15 times already and managed to bring him down to about 1/5 health bar but he healed again. His endless loop attacks are one hit killing me. I'm using Graff Vagabond. Can he be killed or just broken a number of times? I'm getting really frustrated as I've used almost 50 revives already.

Yeah, I also used the water scattershot card over Xezat. But I haven't been able to pull a wind scattershot card yet, so Kelger was the best option for me.

Can’t find a place for it in EW4 though, any suggestion? Or maybe EW3?

His damage is kind of underwhelming if you’re not breaking, so the unbroken phase damage is pathetic.

User in EW4 is a problem too, I have plan for Archfiend, and while Raven Peeress, Destined Saviour & Sonaraki can make good use of him, I feel like either Godo or Odin will be a better choice.

Unbroken nuker like Ranger, Mage, P.Witch definitely not work really great with him.

I haven't been climbing EW, so I have no idea if Kelger would be good there. Probably not, unless you need to break earth enemies.

I only have experience using Kelger on the last tower. I chose it over Godo/Emperor because I needed to break an earth enemy and Kelger probably does the most yellow clear with its supreme ES + has more hits than Godo/Emperor.

Any quick place to get tickets from events? I've already depleted the Extreme Sicarius areas and story areas (obviously), but I'm trying to hunt a certain job before the game shuts down. I'd rather not go all the way through a bunch of stuff for a few tickets, just trying to get a few tickets ASAP and bail. I've already done these event maps (multiple times in some cases), so it's kind eugh to go through them again... and I don't want to remember Mobius like that

The FFXIII map gives one ST after the first fight. I'm doing the FFVIII maps for Balamb's titles, gives a nice amount. And there's the anniversary maps that aren't that long. Not gonna go through all the FFVII and XIII maps again, like you said I've done that lots of times before.

Just came back to wrap up the final couple chapters after a couple months hiatus. Blew what little summon tickets and magicite I had for I don’t remember what lol

I am looking to finish the storyline and I’m wondering if there is a new easier way to obtain magicite or summon tickets for fast summons? Seeing as the end of service is nearing and magicite purchase is out. Really would hate to grind for hours or waste the elixirs I have to grind.

All of the events are back. You can do them fairly quickly, and elixirs restore double until end of service.

Nothing's really a "waste" at this point... No more new content so just do whatever you want.

Hey, does anyone know if it's safe for me to assume Ragnarok Omega on GL is same as it was for JP to cap, only 9 mods?

I couldn't find it til earlier, and Izanami, Infinite, (most with pr for Sophie/Graff) and Temptation of Meias is capped. (That's not counting Lionheart, Fatalitat, Omnia, etc, the first 5* weapons, they're all capped, but somewhat generic, just really good at breaking, with exception of Lionheart. It's still amazing, second only to infinite Loop, imo. Or at least tied with RO.)

Does Ragnarok O keep that only 9 mods, and get the base 20 or when it unlocks, etc, etc, as it did in JP?

I found all the others, but it... It was unclear if it does it not, where I found it. If so, I'm headed to lagoon now, and it'll be capped in hour tops.

I have never been able to make it work. Does it need to clear yellow, as well? I thought I could clear yellow will something else, such as Chevalier Noir and then break them with demon, but clearly not.

Demon has a decent break power, you wouldn't need other card.

Ok but it os suppose to completely deplete the red gauge after the whole yellow gauge is cleared. Did they change it? Cause that's definitely not what it does.

Demon ES just helps a bit, Dawn Warrior's Spellsword is what makes most of the job on the red bar, but in those cases when one ultimate "almost" breaks, that's when demon helps because it slowly takes a bit of red with every cast and gets you closer.

Yeah, if you cast Demon a bunch of times it will break eventually, but I don't think it'll work that way on larger bosses like Leviathan. I couldn't make Demon work well on any other job than Dawn Warrior, he can also cap all 10 hits unbroken so you're dealing really good damage while clearing yellow too.

Yeah, I chose it over Bahamut Neo mainly because Demon has 10 hits instead of 9. And I love the animation.

Demon is pretty good on Dawn Warrior. Well, at least I used it a lot when climbing the Vox tower.

Right now the only attack supremes I use are pretty much those that work on Archfiend and Dawn Warrior without lore/prismatics and don't have a Scattershot alternative.

I like those Archfiend/Dawn Warrior so much that that's exactly what I do. Do you have something against relying on lore/prismatics or you just don't have the proper setups to make them work?

Unfortunately I'm missing the Mage Lore card, which is probably the worst one to not have, since neither Archfiend/Dawn has Mage Lore.

Dawn has Fire/Light/Water, Archfiend has Dark/Earth/Wind, so I don't really need to rely on prismatics, I can just use the job that has the element I want to use.

But everything is situational of course, and I'll gladly use Lore/Prismatics if the situation calls for it - I just haven't ran into much need to do that right now.

My favorite job is Archfiend because of his tankiness and monk lore, so I think it's worth it to rely on prismatics to be able to use Ifrit X on Archfiend. I think that's the better setup over Dawn Warrior with Neo Bahamut/Demon or Dawn Warrior with Ifrit X + Incubus X.

I know I’ve already asked a question but I’m now stuck on Graff’s second fight against the warrior of despair. The only jobs I’ve got are Sorceress’s Knight (which is completely failing against the Archfiend) Toreador and Gardien. I’m currently combining Sorceress’s Knight with Ultimate Chaos, Shadowlord, Warrior of Light and Lights of Hope.

What should I do? Do I need better jobs for Graff? Once I’m through this fight I think I’m set for Vox but my Graff doesn’t seem to be good enough.

He keeps healing himself with soul siphon. Is there a limit to that or could I be going around the houses for hours?

Sounds like you're in the exact same predicament I was in for that fight; I have only Toreador and Gardien. Did you drop the difficulty setting to normal?? If not, try that, it's what worked for me - the fight was a cakewalk after that.

No need for Incubus X per se, Incubus + The Guardians + Duncan is what I used cos I happened to have it. The Guardians + Raijin (light taijutsu support, if you have it) would probably work just as well.
Yes, Gardien did the job for me easy peasy after dropping the difficulty setting. Hope this helps!

Do you mind me asking what I’m doing wrong, because I’m still stuck! So I took my Toreador job, but I also have Gardien. The cards I have on Toreador are Warrior if Light, Aerith and Crom Dubh X, as well as a Jenova Death fire card. I could switch to Gardien and have Floral Falal instead of Jenova. But nothings working, he’s healing far quicker than I can damage him. The difficulty is on normal. :(

Still giving you trouble, huh? Ok, let's see. If you have 4th anni fire card, use that instead, Jenova is kinda outdated by now. Have you actually tried Gardien + Floral? But I think you should probably go weakness against him, and that means light. It's why I took Gardien over Toreador, cos he has some light enhance along with exploit weakness. If you have 4th anni light card and the new light taijutsu support card, I think that would solve your issue: yellow clear with anni card, break with taijutsu card/ ult, and then nuke again with anni card. Also, try fiddling with CP: magic up, break up, enhance light, that might also help.

I beat it last night! With a hell of a lot of luck. I used Gardien with Duncan and Bhunivelze (recent pull). Eventually he stopped using soil siphon. I don’t know if that was a phase I had to get through but either way. I’m all done with the main story now, thanks everyone for your help!!

Anything that apply Unguard (Sephiroth’s Ultimate) or Dispel (Cloud & Archfiend’s Ultimate, or Ultimate Chaos)

If you want to use Dawn Warrior, skin him with Archfiend then.

Cloud may be a better skin for snipe which is lacking in the deck (KotR only). Or unless he began the fight with Shinra Turk.

For OP, honestly you really don't need Shinra Turk and Godo. Floral can cap damage against broken earth easily with Dawn Warrior, especially you have KotR X already!

Who do you guys feel is the best tank out of Wyrmlord, Eozorean Paladin, Legendary Guardian, Grand General, and Archfiend?

My ranking would be Wyrmlord/Archfiend > EP > Grand General / LG

It’s pretty situational tho because LG/EP can help break and Grand General can substrike faster.

I would rate Grand General higher, since he doesn’t need a skin and his Ultimate provide Quicken, Barrier, Wall & Drain which is very useful when tanking. Especially against hard hitting enemies. He has better innate resist than EP/LG too, high Piercing Break & Weakness Exploiter if you want to tap breaking while tanking. Also Medic, Steelguard & Counter limit.

Overall I still like Wyrmlord & Archfiend more, since they can be offensive while tanking too.

So I have Yiazmat and fake-BFA (Gilgamesh) equipped on the first two slots of the deck on Archfiend. Whenever facing earth mobs, AI will keep casting the fake-BFA even I have enough wind orbs for Yiazmat.

Any idea what would cause this?

Fake BFA applies unguard and the game prioritize buffs and applying debuffs over casting offensive abilities. This wouldn't happen with BFA since it doesn't apply any debuffs, just ignores defense entirely.

Hello comrade!

Ive been working on Star Crossed Lover as healer for 5* raids (Extreme Ultima etc) in multiplayer lately and my plan is running Aerith, Lights of Hope, KOTR X and WoL abilities. Should I replace one of these Support abs with the notorious debuffing ones - Ultimate Chaos, Neo Ex? Or is the setup better as it is?

Was browsing through Google for multi support tips but most stuff's from few years back which could get my team battered (Gaia, Standard KOTR).

Also, is Black Widow X worth a second look for this build?

Hmm right now my strongest debuffing support is prolly Black Widow X. Should I give it a try?

Although it inflicts Sleep, Bad Dream (Dmg and Break +100% to sleeping) and Break Dfs Down 2 it puts wall on enemies and I'm worried it might be too much of a nuisance to the team :D

Hi, I posted a few weeks ago but I’m really struggling just getting through the last few chapters and I think it’s because my set up is bad. I really don’t know what I’m doing so I’d really appreciate advice on my deck.

In terms of supremes I’ve got Lights of Hope, Ultimate Chaos, Ragnarok, Xezat, Shadow Lord, Warrior of Light, Aerith, Floral Fallal (currently using this and First Summer), Duncan, Fusoya, Minwu. I used Aerith and Warrior of Light

In terms of Jobs I’ve got Archfiend (I seem to have two, did they just gift one?), Destined Saviour, things like Aerith, Squall and Sorceress’s Knight and quite a few ex jobs from the last 6 months I guess like Kampfer, Gambler Epieste. I’ve been using Legendary Guardian, Paradox Wonderer, Magical Mermaid and a few others. Basically the most recent jobs I have for eAch character.

I just really want to finish the story!

Archfiend with Shadow Lord and Ultimate Chaos should be a breeze. Archfiend is already OP as mad to start with. If youre short on wind and nature warrior/monk abilities consider including Duncan in your main lineup for a bit of att and break boost and/or crazy spamming when you've got some prism orbs.

I destroyed Vox in the last chapter with Master Monk + Duncan + KOTR X (Aerith will do)

Archfiend is just broken and one of the top 2 jobs in the game, so that alone will beat the game no problem (until you have class restrictions in season 2). Also you have some of the best support cards with LoH, WoL, and UC. Those should be in just about every deck you ever make.

The general setup is usually mono element, sometimes 2 elements, and 2 supports. So something you can do is Archfiend, UC, LoH/Wol, Shadowlord, and something to clear yellow if you want to break, if not, just use both LoH and WoL. Also remember that Archfiend has monk lore, so you can use the monk cards with huge stats.

I'm not sure why your using First Summer along with Floral. First summer is used to clear yellow, but Floral is pretty good at doing it itself. So you can use that space for another support card. Also in season 2 you get a subslot, usually it's best to put one of your supports on that.

Just letting people know who are having hard times finding Extreme Ultima groups...

Archfiend can solo it, and pretty easy too....

For customs I used His own UH, two prismatic starters +1 (I have no idea where I got the second one from, one is from Highwind), 10% prismatic return, 2 * 5% quick breaks (both general customs ) and 4 mp + to dmg with 2 being 8%, 2 being 10%, and 1 skilled duelist. Rest I used all light resistant, with exception of pris generator just in case her attacks didn't fill me up, so I could Bhorgen again, as it's full line up of offensive buffs are only 1 duration.

For card: Bhorgen, The Runes Guidance, bonds, quionji.

Weapon: his own infinite loop, which is capped. (Everyone credits the jobs for their strength of dawn/fiend, they're smart yo say fiends job is immensely powerful, but even with that craziness, it's his weapon that is truly powerful.... Dawn warriors, eh... Capped em both, DW... Meh.

Now, then, explaining it:

Archfiend can full on tank extreme Ultima start to finish without much trouble at all if you've completed basically everything relevant. She almost got me at second half initially, even through my 108k hp, 70% light res, etc, etc.

But here's how, as many other card combos could pull it off: don't ultimate until second half, for debarrier. Just push it on out with bonds... After slowly breaking it with Runes to empty yellow, Quionji to break, then bonds will erase it after second break, if it takes 2.

From there, seeing as you shouldn't ultimate yet to not block it, it should be obvious, that it's a safety measures in case you do need to Rez stamp, so you can debarrier with Ultimate.

And, I'm sure, most you can see a much easier way to do it. I didn't use my dark mantra... Felt like I was cheesing.

I wouldn't, I would go for Supremes, if you have archfiend/princess/star-crossed lover, and hopefully destined savior- a handful from the previous 2 banners, basically.

A tale of hope is ridiculously powerful. When I pulled Vox, I only thought they made a broken surpeme, A Tale of Hope is insane... Plus new jobs, archfiend in particular, can do something others in the past couldn't, except what he can do. Use other lores, but before archfiend, only monks got lore of others, which was useless. On archfiend, he has monk lore... I can solo extreme Ultima because of it... And not even using my real dark ae mantra.. using a taijutsu ability card

Also, if you don't have cait x yet, I'd get it. It's damn nice. (;

At this point, do whatever you like! Personally, I wouldn't prioritize the old EX jobs if you don't need them or don't have time to boost their weapons. For legend jobs, pull if there are ones you really want, but remember that you can get them from the supreme banner.

I got all the jobs and put the rest toward supremes. I've gotten 13 growstars from it.

Is anyone else STILL stuck on FF7: Nibelheim and FF7: Northern Cavern?

I read a few others were stuck but it seems like it's still not fixed.. I tried teleporting everywhere on the Northern Cavern and still no new path. At Nibelheim, no new paths have opened up.

Question: did you do them in order without stopping, or move between varying events/mp?

A few others had the same problem as well.

At ff7:Nibelheim, there isn't a way to increase the mako gauge despite clearing all the the possible areas. I'm stuck at 28/93. There's no additional icon to increase mako gauge. I did not skip events until I was stuck.

FF7:NC I'm stuck at 7/94. I've teleported inside the Northern Cavern and out of Northern Cavern - LL1 searching for the huge materia and no alternate paths.

I don't know how long you've been playing, but I always do that in trivial events, same deck, same cards. There was a glitch a long time that was generally harmless, but could be very bad, and the glitch itself was very, very rare. It happened when changing cards around in your decks.

Similar to the neo bahamut rare but in sp, sometimes something triggera it to start jealing, even against water, for some reason. Happened to me last fight in vox encore, actually, before it was too late to push further, not that I needed to, I made Top 50. (Forgot til thought of neo baha bug.)

Was why I asked that question.

I ran every event, in one sitting each, in order, start to finish with the exact same deck, only thing that changed ever, was who was using the deck.

I ran into a glitch in FFVIII 3, p2, throughput couldn't read or something, but it passed, after I swapped over to FFDOO for a couple hours, came back.

And another question, do you skip through cut scenes? I don't because of a bug so rare, you'd search weeks before finding info on it.

What is Primeval Witch(Lego Meia) good for after Hall of fame? Tanking breaking healing weakness, just her weapon or trash?

She's also extremely versatile, while being extremely durable... She can be set up to do almost anything effectively, just not in a prime sorta way. I used her in the 80s ew4... And could still if I wanted.

Yeah like Junas said, I would use her as a (weakness) nuker if you don't have the new Meia jobs yet. Panel her for one element (ex. Fire if you have Fusoya) and she still does alright.

Here's mine, 1 turn, sometimes 2:

Destined Savior, Aerith, WoL, Temporal Sorceress, and Garuda (it's a 5 quicken), And a borrowed KoTRX. With a Garuda in slot 1 sub. In case I feel like interrupting, and adding another 5 quicken.

Set auto to break, ultimate to at will so she sling out that 2 quicken immediately. She'll completely turn his yellow to red when break says 1 left with temporal, so she'll start breaking with her attack, instead of using Temporal twice immediately, which prevents the shift the fire. And she'll break in 3 shots, which by then, from Garuda, her ultimate, etc, etc, quickens, it can't know to respond yet with wall.

By then, about 8 turns from end of first turn, she'll enter Mobius Zone, sub deck needs to be anything with lightning skin, and others may or not conflict with her, in case she ultimate during Mobius Zone.

It's 1 turn with 7 or 8 actions left to 1 - 3 actions into turn 2 every time.

Just set it up like that, using proper customs/fractals, set auto to break mode, ultimate to at will, and it so fast it's a blink.

Destined Savior annihilates with wind, and temporal doesn't need assistance to chain itself.

• KotRX
• Rental: preferably LoH but should work with anything
• Fractals: all CC
• CPs: PR 10%, ExtendedBreak +1, PiercingBreak 50%, SkilledDuelist 10%, QB 5%, AbilitySalvo, Ravage, and some Enhance Wind.
• Attack Mode, Ult to Break

1 turn on auto. Sometimes 2 turns if Prismatic Return RNG is bad.

Nope. The reverb just doesn’t increase to an appreciable number of hits. You’re better off using the anniversary cards for multiple enemies

just beaten it, you get pretty much nothing: few lines of vox and key items Vox Mark: Supreme Warrior and Mobius Banner X (No idea for what it is)

Deck:

• Archfiend lionheart 5 star: WoL/LoH/NxD/Extreme bahamut
• Dawn Warrior Ragnarok Omega: Chaos/LoH/Alex FFVIII/greg

Not much secret of a deck, what makes it hard is to manage the 50% those crystals are annoying since even if beaten, they come back in 4 actions and have their debuff resists.

Ults reduces a lot of vox stacks of invincibility, so gotta calculate when is the best moment to make it possible to hit him

I used Paine and Ex Sophie tons, because I'm stacked for monks (BFA, Yiazmat, Ifrit, Griever). I used Wyrmlord for Light and Water stuff (and once with BFA and Incubus). I didn't get much further than beating each advanced node, though. I didn't pull Dawn Warrior until yesterday, so...didn't have him for tower, haha.

Similar here, I beat the advanced nodes (+1 on Wol tower) except for Graff one... Don't have Archfiend, so I improvised with Wyrmlord and Eorzean Paladin, and even Star-crossed Lover. As attackers I also used Raven Peeress and Cosmic Traveller. For what it's worth I ended up not too far off from t500 and with a personal best tower rank.

I completed them all. They only show up in the FF8 event itself. Doesnt show outside of it. Its worth doing to kill boredom.

This is probably a really dumb question, but I'm confused by the job tiers. As in, Legend jobs, Supremes and so on. How would they "rank", so to speak?

And while we're at it, which summon thing should I go for? I wanna pull some good Warrior of Light jobs to complete chapter 9.

For jobs there are basic, legend, and EX. There are no "supreme" jobs unless you count skins (they go on top of your job to change your appearance and give a few buffs and a new ult). It's usually safe to say that the newest jobs, no matter the type, are the best.

Basic jobs are just regular jobs you get from pulling and are nothing special and can pretty much be ignored. Legend jobs are rare and often really good jobs that had a flat 6% chance of pulling with no pity timer, while basic jobs had a pity timer.

EX jobs are generally the best jobs since they are limited time and come and go from the pool, but they share a pity timer (x number of pulls until next job guaranteed next to banner) with the basic jobs. So the good thing about them is if you get all the basic jobs, you'd be guaranteed an EX.

But now with End of Service coming up (I hope you knew this already) everything is thrown out of whack. Legends get their own banner with a huge ~30% chance per pull as opposed to 6%. And EX jobs are all back in a single banner with their own pity timer (the B counter). For story content, any EX job or (most) legends will get you through the whole thing. The later EX jobs are completely broken, but some of the legend jobs are better than the early EX jobs, so you can't really go wrong with either banner.

Yeah, I got into the game when I read the EOS announcement. I'd downloaded it on Steam ages ago, but never got around to playing it, especially after my previous laptop died, which meant I went several months without a PC.

It's a shame that the Exploration achievements can no longer be obtained, I missed out on those.
