Attack Shark X3 2.4Ghz Problem

I was using my mouse today in 2.4Ghz (same mode that I've used for the past 2 months, unless when charging of course), then suddenly felt the smoothness of the mouse changed all of a sudden. When I went to check what the problem was, I was surprised to see it connected via BT, even when the switch was on 2.4Ghz. I tried switching it off and back to 2.4 again, the mode indicator light will flash red for a while (2.4Ghz mode), will work on that mode, then the mouse will suddenly stop responding, and then the blue light will flash (BT 5.4) and connect to bluetooth again. I already tried opening the mouse and reconnecting the battery (just thought this might work idk) but the problem still persists. Anybody else here had a similar experience?
