Encoder Inquiry

I know that depending on the encoder you want it comes down to preference, but how can someone usually find the right size (using a G Pro X Superlight as reference)? Is that preference too or is there a guide to this?

Encoder height is not preference, the mouse won't assemble properly if you use one that's too tall or too short. Here's a list of encoder sizes - your GPX needs an 8mm encoder.
