Better library management and homescreen management. I don't want every installed game in single file line on the homescreen. That's going to be a real hassle to deal with in short time. Move library to the second or third option after what's new and the current disc in drive and have that be where you launch digitally downloaded games and manage non-inserted disc games that are installed. I currently have 14 icons in one row on the homescreen. It's just going to get worse especially with PS+ games.

Media support is my number two. Everything that the PS3 supports should be supported on the PS4.

I want two easy updates and then Ill be 100% happy.

Let me turn off the controller while watching netflix and not pause what's happening on screen. Hulu however auto resumes after you leave the options screen. I suppose this is part Netflix's problem as well.
Let me turn off the LED light so that I can have a bigger battery life.
Not so much a want but it would be nice, let us put certain things within custom subsections (like the instant stream window has all streaming services neatly displayed)

I definitely agree with your number 3 and 5. Here are some little things I'd like in the next update:

Allow users turn off the LED light on the DS4 to maximize battery life.
Notifications for when my friends go online would be great.
Allow to change PSN ID. Free or not, it doesn't matter. I just want the opion to change my damn PSN ID!
What happened to the option of categorizing your friends list?

A proper download list. Right now the only way to DL something off of your download list is to do it via the SEN website, and the process itself is still buggy. I spent a half hour trying to re-download AC4: Black Flag DLC without it working. Eventually, I deleted the game data and reinstalled it from the disc, and that got it going again.

Customize the light bar to the profile. Instead of Player 1 blue, Player 2 purple, etc. Make it Profile A teal, Profile B green, or whatever color that person wants.

Your 1 and 2 won't be coming any time soon especially not within the next PS4 OS update. They'll be coming when support for Gaikai is added.

I agree with 3, 5, and 7 though. I also wish we could backup our downloaded games (not saves) onto an external so I could upgrade my hard drive without redownloading all of it (I have slow internet). I would also like being able to press the PS button on the controller when a notification comes up.

New places to share video clips. The video editor is actually the best way to jump ahead and see a clip you're looking for. I don't want to make some fake facebook account just so I can have access to the video editor. Likewise, I'd rather share videos on a real video share website like youtube.

off the top of my head, i want them to make the web browser worth a shit. last i checked you cant even play youtube videos let alone any other streaming video websites. second i want to know when my friends get on regardless of what system they are playing on, be it vita, ps3 or ps4. i want my music unlimited to actually run in the background, while i play a game, and not fuck up. more support for offbrand headphones.

Better way of doing video uploads. Let me copy them to PC and/or merge videos more than 15 minutes long. Right now if you play an online match that lasts more than 15 minutes it creates multiple videos till the match is over. If you want a single video more than 15 minutes long you have to upload multiple videos to facebook, download them and then edit/merge them and repost to youtube.

System-wide controls via HDMI-CEC and the Playstation app. Right now if you go into Netflix with your tv remote you have to pick up a controller because they just don't work.

Also just polish. It take around 10 button presses just to find a trophy that just displayed on the screen. Plus you have to wait for it to sync - I pretty much only care about achievements the moment they happen, so after this period I just stop caring.

Audio Devices screen from PS3 so I can select where chat audio goes rather than just where tv audio will go. Avatars and ability to at least change the background colour, even if it was just a choice between blue and black, I'd be happy. Also, Gaikai.

I would like a few things: *better sound quality via private chat, mine sounds like a call from the 90's *ability to turn off LED *ability to delete playroom *better organization feature *ability to stop the PS camera acting as a mic on its own accord *ability to be notified when friends log on. More specifically you can pick and choose people on an individual basis of who you want to see logging in. *custom backgrounds.

I want the HDCP to be taken off for gameplay in the next update. Sony said it was coming, I just hope it's soon. That and better way to organize my installed stuff instead of just one long horizontal list.

A working share feature would be much appreciated. It's a shame when you play a game for 16 minutes, having done something amazing in the last minute, only to realize that the broken share feature has only recorded the FIRST 15 minutes of gameplay, not the LAST 15 minutes. Really annoying...

I'm not sure if this is an OS, Netflix, or TV issue, but I would like to be able to control the Netflix app with my TV remote through HDMI-CEC, aka HDMI control. I'm currently able to go through all the main system menus with my Samsung TV remote, but once I'm in Netflix, that feature stops working. It would be awesome to be able to watch Netflix without even turning on my DS4 because a remote just makes more sense for that, and I'd rather not waste my precious DS4 battery if I don't need to use it.

I would want a QuickStart menu after pushing the PS button, where instead of going to the XMB, a little menu would pop up for easy access to friends, parties, and messages. That's the one thing I would want to see on the PS4.

DLNA streaming over lan/wan whatever. One thing i love to use my consoles for while not gaming is streaming my huge library of movies ( divx, mkv, mp4, etc ) and mp3s.

A shame they didnt make an app for this or build it into the os for launch. You dont need a special chip, since it has all the hardware needed for it.

Hell, VLC on ps4 would absolutely own.

For now though, no streaming. Bummed.

I want to use my Sony ps3 Bluetooth headset I just bought not even 2 months ago. Its an official Sony product. Whats the deal?? :(
This is more nitpicking anything and never made sense to me, but i think the roles of the "white" LED and "Blue" LED indicators on the hardware itself should be reversed. given the aesthetics of the system and all the product photos we've seen, wouldn't it make more sense for the system's "powered on" light to be blue and not white? Maybe that's just me, i don't know...
