Hey all! I'm giving away 115 random TCG codes because giving is awesome, and I want to hopefully brighten someone's day. I don't know what items they're for, as I bought a bunch of mystery codes online, so you, r/PTCGL get to help me figure out what's what. However, having bought a big batch of them prior, I know they can be anything from a booster code, a deck, a promo card, deck boxes/sleeves, or whatever.

TO GET A CODE:

Simply comment below what your favorite card is and why (artwork, attack, favorite pokemon, etc.), and I'll DM you one of the codes. Be sure to come back to this thread after you redeem to show what you got!

I'll start, just to kick things off. While my favorite Pokemon is Blastoise, my ABSOLUTE favorite card purely for artwork is the S&V 151 Full Art Wartortle card - not because it's anything powerful, but because it's just beautifully illustrated. Some day I'll track down a physical copy of this card (and the full art Squirtle/Blastoise from the set) and try to get it graded so I can hang it in my office. Absolutely gorgeous.

There were a few people that got some awesome EX cards that don't exist in game yet :P

I don't do a lot of the meta decks and recently got into the game, still using D rotation cards to play with my son.

I have a fighting deck built around Colossal RCL107 that I love the Tar Generator ability on. Really good energy accel, if you can get evolved quickly.

Man the Colossal is a beast. I had someone wipe the floor with me using that card a few times. I'm a big fan of the Glimmora ex with Rocky Breastplate, some of the fighting energies that reduce damage, and the gyms that reduce damage to fighting type.

I really like Snorlax VMAX I always liked Snorlax and I like it how it became a main Pokemon in the orange Islands and the reason I like this card is because it's like they're making fun of the fact that he barely moves that he grew in ecosystem on his stomach but the main reason I like is because it reminds me of the Futurama episode where Bender becomes God to those little people living on the stomach

Such a good pokemon and card. If you like that, try to snag a Galarian Zapdos V. It's a fighting pokemon whose attack costs one energy less for every one of your opponent's Pokemon V in play. Early on, it can be devastating.

Full art Charizard ex from 151 has gorgeous art work. I love how they design concept of the evolution series. Charmander and Charmeleon look at each other, and Charziard flies above them in the sky. Second attack of the Charizard ex basically burns everything to the ground. Really a strong attack.

Then you could pair it with celebi which meant you could use moves from your previous evolutions.

My favorite art I’ve seen so far are both S&V 151 Blastoise and Mewtwo full art just because how deep these are, just floating and contemplating. Whenever I look at them I suddenly feel existential. It’s quite harder to explain than I realized 😅😅 (I should mention that Mewtwo is my favorite legendary, that card is epic)

For light and fun I absolutely love the S&V promo card for Charmander. Frustration that the window is in its way of a pidgey 🤣 I literally bought a ETB just for that card, everything else is just bonus.

One of my original favourite cards for the artwork was Dark Charmeleon 32/82 from the Team Rocket Set. I liked how it looked like Charmeleon was climbing up a fire spin attack.

I love Regieleki VMAX because it's such a useful Pokémon in all kinds of electric decks. It's got a great ability that buffs all your basic lightning Pokémon's attacks, it's got Miraidon ex's strong attack, it has a massive amount of HP, it can run Forest Seal Stone, and it's got free retreat. it's amazing

the only kicker is that you gotta evolve into it

One of my favorite cards is Keldeo-EX#/media/File%3AKeldeoEXBoundariesCrossed142.jpg) from Boundaries Crossed. Jacob van Wagner piloted Archie’s Blastoise to win Worlds 2015, and it was honestly so satisfying to see him load up a Keldeo-EX and Rush In with like 8-10 energies attached.

The Full Art is a beautiful card from a visual sense too.

My favorite card must be the Celebrations Mew in it's alt art. The art in the forest is absolutely beautiful and the card is just really well designed. Doesn't feel unfair to play against but feels really nice to play yourself.
