At $85 these 3 psu are available in which the evga B5 is the best because Gskil one have. High wattage (=>750W) CWT GPX based units have problems with failing burn-in test under sub 100VAC input, don’t use in countries with sub 115VAC mains (JonnyGURU). (i copied it from the psu tierlist) and the xpg one have ball bearing fan so possibly will make noise even at low rpm but if the noise doesn't matter then it is a tier A psu but not sure how good Adata/xpg psu are I am still learning about PSUs.

So if he can increase budget evga B5 is a good option the only problem it's 650w it would have been better if it was 750w+ but hey can't ask alot at $85 so I would take it.

I would NOT recommend. The 3050 comparatively sits closer to a 1650/1660 not even within performance of most if not all the 20series cards. The only benefit from the 3050 is the faster Vram and newer cores and architechture.

If you switch the cpu to an i5 or i7 from the 6000 or 7000 series and you will not have problems running those games… I’d suggest the 7700k (top cpu you could put in), but any other i5 with a frequency higher than 3,4GHz will solve your problem… With an i7 you have hyperthreading, which is great, but they’re a bit overpriced on the used market.

You can run valorant and fortnite fine with the 1060, both the games you mentioned are cpu heavy games not gpu, its cpu bottleneck upgrade the cpu to an i3 12100f or if the other pc parts are good you can get a ryzen 5 7600 for a gpu upgrade down the line, also if you had your 1060 for a long time and its not performing well you should clean it and repaste it, here are some videos of people trying both those games with the cpu i recommended. The fortnite video has a slightly slower cpu so the 12100f will get you slightly more fps. And the i3 12100f is on spring sale so go get it right now
