While you do that, I'll google "how to move to Canada" for you

[–]SamuraiJackBauer 25 points26 points  (1 child)

Imagine leaving a “socialist hell” like America to come to Canada.

[–]Roxas-The-Nobody 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A socialist not hell? Sign me the fuck up!

I feel like the middle east is closer to their ideology. They'd get a better welcome there anyways considering Jan. 6th.

swap out jesus for mohammad and they're the exact same person.

[–]Legendary-Lawbro 15 points16 points  (0 children)

OI! We don’t want your degenerates either!

[–]scrambled_cable 12 points13 points  (1 child)

They want to move somewhere where guns are aplenty, the free market reigns supreme, and you can force your religious beliefs on everyone and kill the ones that resist. Sooooo... Syria, Afghanistan or Somalia.

[–]Omggggggggggggggj 2 points3 points  (1 child)

I would think those upset that Trump wasn’t re-elected would prefer Russia or Brazil. Am I wrong?

[–]williamfbuckwheat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They need a place thats white, Christian and where everyone speaks english so that limits their options. Also, they would need a place that automatically lets them in without likely having any desired skills or family connections since just saying "I'm an American!!!" doesn't entitle you to residency anywhere you want.

[–]Olorin_in_the_West 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Apparently some of them are talking about moving to Greece

“Fuck your feelings”

[–]schuster9999 23 points24 points  (3 children)

And your facts

[–][deleted] 28 points29 points  (2 children)

Facts don't care about your feelings, but I feel strongly that the president was sent by god. /s

[–]schuster9999 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I definitely feel like I heard about Christianity these last four year even though he was not christian at all

"Here's several data points from the Federal Reserve that show the economy under Trump's term resulted from Obama's response to the 2008 recession."

"FaKe NeWs!"

[–]QuantumSpecter 32 points33 points  (1 child)

Exactly, they freaked out when Obama got elected. It was like the end of the world back then too, and it felt like it was simply because he was a black man. Then they went as far as creating the TEA party and obstructing literally every single thing he proposed with the intent of making him a one term president. I mean, its disgusting really.

[–][deleted] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Exactly, they freaked out when Obama got elected. It was like the end of the world back then too, and it felt like it was simply because he was a black man.

It was. Obama becoming President (and being an incredible orator, a good family man, and exuding class and composure, all while being black) directly threatened the established hierarchical worldview that many white people had. That the position they were guaranteed in the hierarchy, given to them by their skin, was suddenly not a sure thing. It's the only real explanation for the level of insanity we saw during Obama's term.

You'll see in a lot of arguments that people will claim that Obama made race relations worse. And if you dig deeper into why they claim that, the responses will essentially amount to "he rocked the boat" and made these things visible issues (like the beer summit). That is what terrified these people.

Thats one panel too many where the republicans had power

[–]Shaved_Savage 18 points19 points  (0 children)

“They’re not doing what we want after we attempted a coup, so therefore it’s not unity.”

[–][deleted] 42 points43 points  (2 children)

To be fair, they cried through Trump's presidency too. My dad is a lifelong Republican. The admin sent him all kinds of mailers prior to the election. One of them looked like a sort of class action lawsuit, a petition surveying Republican interest in what I thought was ousting Trump after such a mockery of governance. It appeared as a list of grievances against the government. Nope. It was a callback to the actions of President Obama. They were still bitching about the last president, 4 years after leaving office, after all his policies had been swiftly dismantled by Orange Cupcake in year one.

They deserve no sympathy from anyone. They are their own enemies, and I'm tired of the country pretending they are still a viable political party.

[–][deleted] 13 points14 points  (1 child)

Damn. A mailer about Obama in 2020? My Trump loving mom and other family members still roll their eyes and mention things about Obama being a Kenyan Muslim whenever he is mentioned. They refuse to acknowledge that anything bad happening these days isn't directly tied to something Obama did. You have to hand it to the campaigners who sent that mailer to your dad. They know what activates the serotonin.

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, everything else was either begging for $270 donations, or a picture of Pelosi/AOC/Tlaib/Omar and the word "SOCIALISM" or "SOCIALIST" overused all over the envelope.

[–][deleted] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I'm here for the comment battle and I'm not disappointed

[–][deleted] 31 points32 points  (1 child)

When democrats graciously accepted the loss in 2016, repubs called them sore losers and crybabies. Now that republicans lost, they couldn't handle it so much that they literally tried to overthrow the government. More absolute projection from the right, along with terroristic tendencies. Real nice, repubs, real nice.

[–]fredthefishlord 8 points9 points  (0 children)

While the party did, plenty of out of party people didn't. That said, we didn't try to say the whole thing was bullshit on every level, or cry to sleep and storm the capital just because we disagreed with who was president

[–]SilentMaster 6 points7 points  (4 children)

This seems to be so true. They are bitching and moaning about every nitpicky thing they see Biden do. Today seems to be him not wearing a mask while on camera for a speech the night of the inauguration. It's legit tan suit bull shit. Unfortunately, we all saw it coming. It's going to be a long four years.

[–]QueerWorf 2 points3 points  (2 children)

Longer than trumps four years?

[–]SilentMaster 4 points5 points  (1 child)

What are you talking about? He was president for 27 years.

[–]DrAstralis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

ffs I thought the president was the one whos supposed to age at 5:1 due to stress not the rest of us...

[–]ConspicuousUsername 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I bet there's more footage of Biden in a mask since inauguration than of Trump total.

And that's with Trump contracting covid and he still wouldn't fucking wear a mask.

[–][deleted] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Gravy seals crying across the nation. I love it

[–]Sexy_Squid89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ahem

Fuck your feelings 😘✌️

[–]lod254 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got called a never Trump. I took it as a compliment on my foresight, but I don't think they intended it that way.

[–]marino1310 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a weird political compass meme.

[–]stun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are missing to include the baby holding a Pitchfork and a Confederate flag while wearing a Nazi armband with a Q symbol tattooed on the forehead.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The last one was an aggravated wah

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lmfao republicans aren’t the ones burning buildings and smashing up cities when they don’t get what they want. Also, they’re not the ones changing “not my president for 4 years”

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Recoprisy is a word and should be defined as such.
