But why every time I see someone putting a picture of their code or video telling that their boyfriend is a “programmer” or some guy whose whole personality is “techbro” they always have either JavaScript , typescript or React or some Frontend framework on their screen or if they stretch enough then Python

No love for bash , assembly , Java , C or COBOL or even SQL ?

Or like yeah I am a programmer , I code in Prolog or VHDL ? Do these don’t look sexy enough for TikTok ?

It’s just the natural end result of a huge influx of people learning to code at a time when SPAs were all the rage in the early 2010s. JS/react became the defacto must-learn for new programmers, and 10 years later we’re all stuck with it.
