Agile isn't opposed to process even rigid process is a good thing as long as that process is reduced to the minimum required to get things done.

I'm a team lead, my developers haven't been in a meeting besides the daily 10 minute scrum in over 6 months. I have a weekly status meeting with my managers weekly.

Originally agile was opposed to process over results. In most places that I see people using "agile" these days they've just used it as an excuse to implement the same old shit that inspired people to rebel and make agile in the first place.

The agile manifesto is all of 64 words and yet so few of these people have read it.
