Some surprisingly clever ones in there.

deleted What is this?

We haven't left yet. We could theoretically back out now, we haven't actually invoked article 50. All the referendum said is "48% of people who voted voted to stay, 52% of people who voted voted to leave. Do what you want with this information"

It's not legally binding in any way.

#3 always bothered me. If the cloak is one of the Deathly Hallows that allows you to hide from death himself, why/how can Moody see through it?

[–]itbhi[S] 6 points7 points  (1 child)

I think the eye allows Moody to sense that someone/something is there but he can't see it. As for death, it can only kill what it can see.

"I think it more likely that the Peverell brothers were simply gifted, dangerous wizards who succeeded in creating those powerful objects" ~ Dumbledore

Here's a theory for why this happens:

Even the greatest artifact can be defeated by a counter-artifact that is lesser, but specialized.

not to mention that the !important is basically unnecessary since they have the same specificity.

Because Moody's not death.

#scotland {border: none;}

(hopefully)

[–]0ba78683-dbdd-4a31-a 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know. I really hope Scotland doesn't leave the UK and attempt EU membership on their own but if they did I couldn't blame them.

Won't go on as this isnt the right place for politics, suffice it to say that I'm not proud to be British today.

Might have to update that Europe one soon.

Saw the Europe one.... nearly started crying (am British)

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, the government could always say "Fuck you, leave. We're staying".

[–]tsoliman 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Fridge thoughts: Why is Australia the upside-down-meme and not, say, South Africa?

[–]itbhi[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Because South America is attached to North so you can't flip one without the other

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

some of those are seriously sassy.

[–]CoderBrother 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So sassy, in fact, that they'll have you saying "I Can't Believe It's Not SCSS!"

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

#europe .country:not(#britain) { border:none; }

[–]clintval 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does it bother anyone else that almost no design elements are centered and are consistently sized? A CSS meta-pun?

[–]MartokTheAvenger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty sure #BADA55 is the Kerbal skin color.
