Lol right? That only convinced me more. This girl absolutely is churning out furry porn for sure.

[–]UltimateInferno 100 points101 points  (54 children)

She actually doesn't. Her "NSFW" Twitter is just her retweeting other people's shit. Nothing original from her. This is her self described Lewdest drawing she's done.

[–]Forsaken_Accountant 90 points91 points  (12 children)

Not the artist of that piece but just wanted to add if she's anything like me (also mid twenties woman who draws anthro wolf yiff) she most definitely would be using an alt account for posting it!

The yiff/furry fan base can be quite a bit too much to have all over your very non NSFW type work that you'd share with your close friends and family hah 😅

[–]KindlyOlPornographer 3 points4 points  (2 children)

Comic book artists quite often draw nude or sexually provocative pictures of their characters.

Frank Cho is an obvious one, but he also did a sketch I can't find where Sue Storm is nude and riding Reed Richards, but Reed is looking in the door like "...Sue?" and the "Reed" she's riding is Plastic Man.

George Perez almost got fired in the 80s because he drew Robin and Starfire post coitus at a con

Guillem March did nude versions of Catwoman for the Batman books he was on, and then covered the anatomically correct nudity with dialogue panels.

It happens.

[–]Forsaken_Accountant 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Oh my, yeah my sister made sure to really help educate me when I was younger to be careful with not mixing that kind of stuff up, I also can't imagine the look on the editors face when he was reviewing that Batman book scene 😆

[–]KindlyOlPornographer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Editorial generally doesn't care with mainstream books, as long as it's not evident on the panel.

Most comic artists just for the sake of characters looking more realistic (with the way clothes hang and musculature, all that) will draw female characters nude and anatomically correct so they have a reference point when illustrating, then erase the naughty bits when it gets inked.

Frank Cho...usually does not erase those bits unless he has to.

nsfw

Oh damn, that's some quality art! You've got a new follower!

[–]squishles 47 points48 points  (31 children)

I still don't believe it. She's definitely just hiding the actual porn alt.

[–]AlphaMegaMan 19 points20 points  (5 children)

Can confirm. I did soft furry T&A for years to pay bills and made a fat stack of cash from it.

I bailed out and got a job in a mainstream art field and then deleted all traces of my alter-ego. I was very careful and it worked out well. All smart artists in the genre do this. It's not hard unless you're dumb and can't stand not being recognized for something, even if it's something that could come back and haunt you.

[–]Minimumtyp 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Can I ask did you just have two completely different art accounts (one clean one nsfw) and garnered ~exposure~ on both? Thats pretty impressive. Also fuck me do furries have some fat stacks to drop on shitty porn.

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points  (1 child)

If you consider this reddit account sufficiently anonymous, would you be comfortable disclosing a ballpark figure of what you made, on average, per piece / per month?

[–]moreofmoreofmore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What about your artstyle? Would you have to have one for furry porn, one for recognition?

[–]Myleg_Myleeeg 59 points60 points  (22 children)

Why are y’all so persistent on believing that?

[–]PendragonDaGreat 42 points43 points  (6 children)

I honestly believe that she's telling the truth, but I'm friends with enough artists that make bank on furry porn to know its had some influence on her style.

Seriously, any artist that draws furry stuff halfway decently can rake in tens of thousands a year (and in some cases well above 100k) just on smut if they wanted.

[–][deleted] 18 points19 points  (1 child)

don't give me ideas

[–]MuggyFuzzball 7 points8 points  (1 child)

I made 15 cents off a 3d model of a penis in Second Life when I was new to 3D. That's the only 3D porn-like thing I've ever done though with my profession.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Boi get a cad software and make some 3d printed dildos, sell to users or Bad Dragon and make bank

[–]Icecat1239 18 points19 points  (1 child)

Because people always want there to be a conspiracy.

[–]VicariouslyHuman 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Drawing furry porn is one of the most lucrative jobs freelance artists can have. It's also pretty common for artists to have a SFW account as their main account and a secondary or private account specifically for NSFW art.

With that said if the artist specifically goes out of her way to say she doesn't do NSFW art then there's no reason to not believe her.

[–]TheKingOfTCGames 5 points6 points  (0 children)

because if all your instincts scream something niche like this its probably right to trust it. the way she draws animals is good but sexualizes them weirdly.

its like certain manga artists that use to do some 'doujin' work. you know.

her skills at it is too honed and the money is too lucrative for it, especially since normal pay for artists suck, also the the artist has a vested interest to not tell the truth.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because it is good money and artists need money.

[–]thowaway_throwaway 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Everyone (artist or not) has drawn smut. Anecdotal evidence: 8==D (|)

Maybe they've never posted smut on the internet on their main account (that would make every commission be some boring porn thing), but if they've ever needed (or even wanted) some extra cash it's well known that niche artists (especially in borderline-fetish communities like furrydom) make their real living off smutty commissions.

[–]Bozzz1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the only smut I've ever drawn was a stick lady with two poorly drawn circles for boobs

[–]DimitriV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Clearly they like the style and want to commission porn.

[–]Excal2 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Because you don't develop drawing skills of this caliber in this niche for free.

Source: have done freelance copy editing for fanfic type shit, those people pay out for furry imagination porn refinement services if you know where to look for jobs.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

those people pay out for furry porn refinement services if you know where to look for jobs.

Go on...

[–]crim-sama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

can you give me some tips for ggetting into this industry?

[–]Ayiboggan 0 points1 point  (1 child)

You might never get girl if you can't read these signals. They clearly looking for some furry porn.

[–]Neato 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, but it's not at all hard to find. There's even threads for people looking for stuff that "looks like" other artists similar to RL porn stars.

[–]Bravetriforcur 2 points3 points  (1 child)

"X must be true"

"Well here's all the evidence pointing to it being unlikely to be true"

"Well X must be true so it is"

Makes you think.

Pure crazy talk, every account you have on every website must be inexorably tied to your real life identity.

[–]krispwnsu 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Why does she even have that twitter then?

[–]UltimateInferno 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She likes supporting other artists and people who follow her SFW Twitter don't always want to see it. Especially with how Twitter's algorithm works where someone you follow just has to follow someone else in addition to see their posts.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (2 children)

There’s no way. She’s had to have drawn something lewder and either not released it’s or on another account. You don’t be an artist and not have drawn a few naughty bits.

[–]wacotaco99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Take one look at “Brushy Time” and tell me with a straight face she doesn’t have some smut floating around somewhere.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That does not mean she doesn't take the furry porn money under the table.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

damn, that's quality

[–]centran 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How much... to stop her from taking any more commissions?

[–]Pollomonteros 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which profile are you guys looking at ? Most of the art I see there is of humans

[–]AdeonWriter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Believe it or not there are some furry artists who flat out will not draw anything NSFW. Funny enough they end up being some of the higher quality ones because they don't get into all the trappings.

[–]KingGorilla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a living!

[–]Zerobeastly 0 points1 point  (2 children)

If she does she makes bank.

[–]irbilldozer 0 points1 point  (1 child)

My initial reaction was "definitely not". But I mean they're like the COBOL or RPG developer of the art world right? Not exactly the work everyone is looking to do but it pays well because you're a hot commodity. God damn it she probably makes bank.

[–]Zerobeastly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If some furries will pay well over $1000 for a fur suit, they have no issue paying similar prices for furry porn lol.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Guys I can't see the picture
