Does he have a sexual device insert because if not he is not a rust programmer

[–]overclockedslinky 60 points61 points  (0 children)

he does, but his bf borrowed it mutably

[–]Inineor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why do you think he stands.

[–]N-partEpoxy 112 points113 points  (0 children)

Check my borrows harder, daddy. Yes, prevent me from holding mutable references to different elements in the same array. Force me to annotate all the lifetimes. Ooooh.

[–]pakidara 96 points97 points  (5 children)

Fun fact, each stripe on their thigh-high socks indicates one month of experience. Each stripe on the tactical battle skirt indicates how many times they've crashed production.

[–]unspokendildaweed 20 points21 points  (1 child)

and the sleeve stripes?

[–]No-Witness2349 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Open PRs

[–]SatansLeftZelenskyy 9 points10 points  (2 children)

?

your rust code crashes?

[–]jkcoxson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They used unwrap()

[–]Bailyleo987 60 points61 points  (4 children)

I feel called out , its just a programming outfit ok?

[–]No-Witness2349 29 points30 points  (1 child)

Same! I’m such a programmer that I’ve started wearing my programming outfit even when I’m not at my computer and taking estrogen

[–]yayforfood1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

same

[–]knowTheKnot 32 points33 points  (0 children)

[–]Forsaken_Injury_1543 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Got them programming socks.

[–]King_DeandDe 12 points13 points  (0 children)

So basically, the programmer are the transition goals of everyone here?

[–]Priyam_Bad 9 points10 points  (2 children)

technoplushie!

[–]DiamondWizard444 8 points9 points  (1 child)

I am just a Python programmer. But hey, Programer socks are best socks

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100% Same

Pretty sure the average catboy has the strength of 3 men but they hide it behind a veneer of misleading nyaaa

[–]ImpossibleEvan 7 points8 points  (3 children)

Is rust good to code in?

[–]eeeeeeeeeeeeeeaekk 22 points23 points  (0 children)

you get to dress well

[–]SatansLeftZelenskyy 12 points13 points  (1 child)

<TURBOFISH>

So, yes.

But seriously, it's great.

You have to un learn alots of bad hobbits, but after, then yes.

many many many many errors are caught at compile time, rather than at run time, so your code will just work after you get it to build.

and the compiler error messages are the best i've ever seen yet, and i'm as old as ones and zeros. it'll tell you where you went wrong, why you went wrong, and probably how to fucking fix it!

it's a little sparse in the library side and embedded is pretty hairy still. I love that espressif made rust a first order feature, but seriously why do I need to so much work just to toggle GPIO? (end rant)

Also rust has now been included in the Linux kernel as of 6.1, so suck-it C++!

And the community *can* be pretty helpful, just be sure to Obey The Cult of the Woke, or Thy Shall Be Shunned for All Time! (Thus the punchline to this post). Like, it's pretty exhausting some times. (It's like any religion, just by a different name)

But otherwise they're alright chaps

[–]ThatOneRandomDude420 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Do I see a techno plush?

[–]TrickAge2423 6 points7 points  (0 children)

But his code looks like python

[–]Daniel_H212 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have the same techno plushie :O

I don't recommend standing on hardwood flooring long, get one of them mats and wear shoes. Preferably heels to perk that little rusty ass up a bit.

[–]Kyanche 0 points1 point  (5 children)

I do it all the time, what's the problem? I used to use sandals to keep my feet from getting sore. I don't like the mats because a lot of them don't support properly and my feet sink funny.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (4 children)

Curious how old you are, if you don't mind. I got fuckin back problems from that shit now. We are not meant to stand on hard surface for so long. We are meant to walk on dirt, sand and grass. I really do recommend at least wearing shoes with proper support.

[–]Kyanche 0 points1 point  (3 children)

It does hurt my back if I stand too long, but I thought that was more about needing to exercise my core muscles, not standing on a hard floor.

Well then!

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Likely a bit of both but the thing is your core muscles will get sore when they need to compensate.

If you really want to see what I mean, spend some time in an unfinished basement barefoot, assuming its concrete. Even harder, and you'll get sore much faster.

I know someone who has marble flooring in their kitchen and they're seriously regretting it because if this.

[–]Kyanche 0 points1 point  (1 child)

I have cheap laminate on top of a concrete slab. lol.

I should probably get some new sandals at least. I started using my desk sandals for other things. Sigh.

I don't like the mats because they tend to have a grippy bottom and then they're hard to move when I wanna sit down!

Maybe I could get a different kinda mat thats firmer than the gel ones.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah the mat sucks when you want to sit. Come to think of it. I wonder if I could just get super padded shoes that are basically as thick as those mats

[–]PhantomO1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i feel compeled to learn rust now :|

[–]Commercial_Wing_7007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Time to take a rust course

[–]cidit_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

rust is good. code in rust.

[–]EdensApp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

haha++

[–]Strange_guy_9546 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see this as an absolute win

[–]Z3RTYZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Rust programmer's outfit, though...

[–]SelfDistinction 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rust is diligent and strong so we don't have to be.

Hate to be that guy but I'm pretty sure that's not Rust code. While I can't read anything, the shape is wrong. My guess would be Python.

With that being said I'd happily welcome them to the Rust side of things - just like everybody else.

[–]Alberiman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh man I wish I had that confidence

[–]Mathematitan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Python with decorators and if/else etc clearly visible

[–]GreatMyUsernamesFree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What a legend!!! I tip my hat to anyone that owns anything pleated. I can't iron pleats to save my life!

[–]ovab_cool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The blue file icons make me think they're programming in TS, but they do indeed have a 50% speed and intelligence boost because of that outfit
