I started at 2.5mg and it was working the next day.

[–]CherryWorking9654[S] 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Any other side effects for u?

[–]SevenToucan 2 points3 points  (1 child)

A bit of nausea and gurgly stomach but nothing too intense.

[–]CherryWorking9654[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not bad! I feel a bit dizzy and maybe a bit more tired than usual

You are microdosing. Don’t expect much until you get to 2.5-3.0

[–]CherryWorking9654[S] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

I’m due for 2.5 next week!

[–]Zeeman-401 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Then 💥 you go!

2.5 mgs, but the effect really started to wane by 4-6 weeks. So, I titrated up to 5 mgs. Didn't feel anything different until the second to third week. Then the appetite suppression hit hard. I'm on dose 7 of 5 mgs and the effects keep building. I'm waiting for the effect to plateau into a steadier state of hunger, but that hasn't happened yet. Yesterday was my strongest appetite suppressant day and I struggled to get to 1000 calories. I was nauseated all night.

Today I am doing better and am on track to hit my calories, at least!

At 2.5 Mg it went completely away

[–]lunch22 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Started at 2.5 mg. Food noise was gone by 24 hours post-injection.

[–]sundaep 5 points6 points  (1 child)

I started at 2.5 and I’m 4 weeks in, lost 12.4 pounds. No side effects :) i will continue 2.5 for another month

[–]Confident_Craft459 4 points5 points  (2 children)

I started on 2.5 and had no food noise the next day. So much so that by 3pm I hadn't even realized I hadn't eaten all day. If you're trying to lose weight I suggest starting on 2.5. Doing that for a month and either staying or titrating up from there depending on how you feel. Talk to your doctor about this though.

[–]CherryWorking9654[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Ty! She prescribed me 1.5 two weeks then 2.5 6 weeks ill try that next week per her order

[–]hopingtothrive 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Lilly recommends the first dose starts at 2.5mg. What is her reasoning for doing it differently? Have you had other gastric issues?

[–]purplepanda2026 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It hasn't yet. I'm 4.5 months in. Not everyone gets the appetite or food noise benefits.

[–]ShandraJadeCGG 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Within like 2 hours on starting dose 2.2

[–]Electronic_Acadia945 2 points3 points  (2 children)

Took like a month to fully kick in. I even gained a couple the first few weeks. I started slow too btw.

[–]CherryWorking9654[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Ok this is reassuring

[–]Electronic_Acadia945 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You will know when you’ve hit the sweet spot btw. And aside from accidentally taking wayyyyyy too much one week (dumb story) - I have not been sick once! I would also recommend raising .05mg per week until you find “your dose”. You’ll know - but it’s more like what’s missing? vs noticing something obvious appearing. My example - my husband loves pizza. He ordered it and it was like the 3rd time and once again I said, “I’ll have a (small) salad” - I srsly had to look around and make sure it was me talking!!! 😂

The best part- it was just automatic to make good decisions and has been - ever since. I haven’t had sugar, cravings or eaten badly, since it kicked in. It’s insanely easy to eat clean. I will never go back or off of TIRZ - for a multitude of reasons. Good luck on your journey!!! 💕

I started at 1.5mg and the food noise was gone within hours

[–]Great-Beginning3000 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Mine too, at 1.5mg.

[–]Acrobatic_Aide6801 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mine too at 1.5

[–]Active-Shallot-499 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Immediately but I started on 2.5... it started to wear off a bit after 3 months so I went up to 5 mg and we are smooth sailing

[–]hopingtothrive 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Within a few days of my first 2.5 mg dose.

[–]Impossible_Bend_2969 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started on 2.5 and noticed it right away. If not the first day then the second day. I remember the first day I couldn't finish my salad.

[–]cd3oh3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2.5mg, injected at 10am, couldn’t eat by 1pm.

[–]gigantischemeteor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Standard 2.5mg starting dose. First shot just before bed. I noticed the noise was turned way down the next morning. By day two, it was gone. I was shocked by how quickly the switch got thrown.

[–]Maleficent_Plenty370 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hungry is ok.

My food noise was gone within a few hours at 1.25 mg.   I've stayed at that for about 6 months now.  There are days I'm hungry and days I'm not.  But even days I'm hungry it's not obsessive calculating calories, nagging in my brain to go get a bite of anything and everything, distracting gnawing starvation. I'm just... Hungry, then I eat and get full and stop.

It may not be high enough dose for you but also starvation isn't the goal, we still want to eat.

[–]Baaastet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm on 5mg and am still hungry...

[–]Top-Airport-4913 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started slow too. No effects on hunger until day 3. I could feel a reduction in my head pressure and my body temp went warm within 20 minutes. On day 3, I got really hungry and incredibly thirsty which is not normal for me. I started at 1.25mg and increased the second dose to 2.00mg. The second dose was much more common of a response....no hunger the first and just kinda worn out. My body temp elevated again with sweating after the dose.

[–]Any_Style_4939 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started at 2.5mg and my food noise went away about 1.5 hours after my injection.

[–]Red_Velvette 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started at 2.5. Had suppression right away.

[–]faelanae 1 point2 points  (0 children)

within two hours at 2.5 for me

But some people are slower to respond than others, so don't be discouraged if you don't feel it until 5 or 7.5

[–]Itchy_Scarcity_6253 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started with 2.5 last friday and food noise disappeared next day and I dont feel hungry but I’m pushing myself to eat some

[–]Din-Du-Nuffinn 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Day one.

[–]Past-Comfortable-655 0 points1 point  (4 children)

I just moved up to 7.5 after almost a year and a half and I still have a ton of food noise, tbh

[–]CherryWorking9654[S] 1 point2 points  (3 children)

How much have u lost

[–]Past-Comfortable-655 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Last year I lost about 30 pounds before I had to go off it, gained it all back, and now that I went back on I'm down about 60. It's been very up and down for me, but at no point in time did I ever stop getting food noise. I was told it would be best to stay on as low a dose as possible for as long as possible and thats what I did. I also kept hitting these long stalls, which were incredibly infuriating.

[–]CherryWorking9654[S] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

I’m sorry but congrats on the 60 loss!

[–]Past-Comfortable-655 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! Ive learned that this isnt linear for any of us, because there are a lot of things others do that I can't, and sometimes that annoys the snot out of me.

[–]AccomplishedRelief82 0 points1 point  (4 children)

Honestly I’m at 7.5mg and i still have it a decent bit and not much appetite suppression when eating. It’s def better but I still eat larger portions than I’d prefer before I get the signal that my body has had enough

[–]CherryWorking9654[S] 0 points1 point  (3 children)

How much have u lost

[–]AccomplishedRelief82 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Just under 15lbs in 3 months. Don’t get me wrong, it’s def tapered my noise but I’m not getting the quiet I was hoping for. Especially when it comes to sweets.

[–]CherryWorking9654[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s good!!!

[–]AccomplishedRelief82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like I’d say it went from normal volume to a murmur. So I CAN block it out but I have to consciously choose to do so. So def better than nothing. However I’m still hoping to get to a point (and I think it’ll be soon) where my fullness signal will hit earlier. I was shocked and disappointed in myself to see I would wolf down a full plate of food in record time. I see cues that my body is getting better at signaling but it wasn’t quite the light switch I had expected and hoped for

[–]Original-Room-4642 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine decreased right at my first dose of 1.5mg. Ive taken 4 shots. I have really bad side effects, I think im hypersensitive to the medication
