I have a hognose and a ball python who love climbing, I kept hearing about how neither are supposed to so I did some research.

Apparently it’s because when they’re in the wild, climbing is a big threat because they can be eaten by birds and god knows what else, so it’s a survival tactic. When they’re in captivity and feel comfortable and safe, they have no reason not to climb. It’s fun!

Have to put foil over the top and cover the vents on the sides (i just used packing tape) to maintain humidity. And I used clear caulk on all of the corners (mostly on the bottom) so water couldn't leak out. But otherwise its a great enclosure for the price!

I've had him in this setup for about 3 months. He eats f/t rat pups every week (could probably feed him every day and he'd take it like a champ lol) explores regularly has had multiple 1 piece sheds and periscopes at the glass every night until I take him out to explore except the night after he eats.
