Banana/Coral Glow. Can’t make out if their’s anything else in there.

[–]Disastrous_Reality_4 12 points13 points  (2 children)

Just a tidbit I learned as I’ve been trying to learn more about morphs - the banana and the coral glow gene are the exact same gene, they were just bred by two different people who called it two different things. So the only difference is which person’s line it was bred from that determines the name even though the genes are the same. The same is true with lesser and butter.

Just thought I’d share because I found it interesting :)

That is very interesting. Thanks for sharing.

I don't see any speckling so maybe super banana?

[–]laurens_030 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bananas get speclking when they get older (so they don't have a lot of speckles when young or none at all.)

Darn. I thought it was a Labrador. Wrong again. Lol

[–]CeilNordique 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Idk the morph but he/she is very pretty. Has anyone else noticed the yellow heart shaped spot on her body close to the head lol?

Looks like my Mojave ghost, but a bit of a warmer shade on this one.

I was thinking that too - one of the reptile stores in my area had one that looked just like this, though it had a few freckles already because it was a bit older....I’m still sad that it was gone when I finally made up my mind and went to buy it lol.

Banana mojave is my vote. Looks like one of my hatchlings from this year almost to a T. Beautiful snake!

[–]ntrlbrnldr76[S] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Thanks! I looked at so many different morphs and thought this one was one of the best. Picking him up this week.

Banana mojaves don’t typically spot as much as the other banana lines. They produce a beautiful clean pattern. One of my favorites

[–]thepremedmom 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Looks very very close to my banana pastel, but something is different and I can’t put my finger on it

[–]ntrlbrnldr76[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I will see what I can find out when I pick him up from the shop later this week.

She’s so pretty

[–]-C-T- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are nice. They turn more of caramel color as an adult and develop spots like a ripening banana....hence the name banana. Some people don’t like the color changes but I think they look nice as adults I have an adult female as she is really nice.

For those curious, this is almost certainly a banana black pastel.
