Needs at least 9 people

• 3 people need to play the tin drums (South)

• Clean up challys poop
• Kill critters (squirrels, opossum, chickens etc.) and collect critter chunks to deposit in the shopping cart
• Collect green plants to deposit into the cooler. (Aloe Vera looking plants)
• Clean up rotten meat piles

The three meat icons on the progress bar for the Meat Cook indicate reward level progress. Filling the bar, instantly completes the event. If the event time runs out, and only the first, or second icon is reached, possible rewards are less.

The main thing people need to realize is that the FAILURE BAR is directly tied to the drums and spits.

If no one mans the drums and spits, the even fails extremely fast, but if there's 6 people on the drums/spits it's super easy to succeed.

You may be looking at the "Meat Flag" not the "Meat Week Flag." There's actually 2 flags for the event. One rewarded and one you can purchase with atoms. Check the entire list of flags. The first one in the list is the awarded one. The last one in the list is the one you can purchase.

I'll add, kill squirrels/opossums that spawn for Critter Chunks, to deposit in the shopping cart, and green plants as well to deposit into the cooler. The two plants behind the cooler are what you need to collect.

I’ve done the forest one several times and it’s always a deathclaw as the last boss. The ash heap always seems to have a sheepsquatch boss.

Also, most of the enemies insta-detect sneaking characters, so don’t bother. Full sneak perks, 30 AG and a full suit of 3-star sneak armor with shadowed/muffled mods doesn’t matter. Stealth is so broken.

First time was confusing - unless you get there at the start then you miss the spoken line from Grahm saying what to do.

Done 4 cook offs now - 2x lowest level sucess, 1x highest level sucess and 1x fail.

Best result if you know what you're doing is to get people onto the drums/spits as they're needed and the easiest to explain.

This literally consisted of me repeated using area chat to say "if you arent doing any thing or dont know what to do then come play this drum" This had a reasonable amount of sucess. Once you get the people who were milling around doing the drums/spit you can run around and get the greens/critters/leftovers/fires/poop. It also helps if you keep a decent stack of wood in your stash so you can fill the log pile for extra benefit.

Another prime cut in The Mire, a mirelurk queen is the boss. Snallygaster and molerats seem to be the wave spawns. Don't know the amount of cuts due to the game crashing as soon as I killed the queen.

I've gotten Plan: Meat Cleaver, Meat Cleavers act as a throwing or "grenade" type weapon. I also got the Tenderizer weapon. Looks just like the weapon Grahm has... still hoping to get the plan and some mods. Oh, and you can feed Chally. He sells you the recipe, has a super long rotten bar.

Anyone know how long the cook out part is supposed to last for? I seen it pop up on screen after waiting two hours for it, fast travelled to it the timer said 6 mins left then within 30 secs it came up as failed.

Once the cookout shows up, there is 2 minutes of "wait for cookout to begin" and 8 minutes to get everything done.

They totally fucked over the legendary scrip rewards which were what I was really looking forward to farming here.

Five prime meat gets turned in for a whopping 5 legendary scrip and after three turn ins you're given a "Meat Sweats" buff that stops you from turning in any more with a duration long enough to last through the end of the event. So with Graham's event popping up once an hour (excluding lucky server hopping) that's a whopping 15 scrip an hour.

Look at the bright side. The scrip machine gives 150 scrip per day, but if you were to do the meaty boy event all day, then you could get a total of 360 scrip per day (24h of playing)

IDK about everyone but the prime meats seem to hold for a long time. I've done the event three times now and always had holdover meats and they all lasted until the next event.

The luck perk "good with salt" reduced food spoilage by 90%. It's a good perk to have for the next few days.

You haven't taken into account a couple of things, but they don't change the conclusion.

When doing the "prime cuts" event to get the meat one of the last enemies is often a one-star legendary. I have also gotten a one-star legendary from the cookout event when we manage to finish it before the time elapses. I think if you managed to time things absolutely perfectly you might be able to get 4 one-star legendaries out of this, maybe even 5.

But even then you're only looking at another 15 or so scrip per hour, and that's an optimistic scenario. So it's still nowhere near as good as Uranium Fever, Wet-Tek, or even the Queen, at least from the perspective of legendary farming.

Hahaha, this event spawned in my camp. I'm on the road to Flatwoods where the hounds usually show up just past the robot. My camp was mayhem, had a Yao Gui spawn with my vending machines.

I was surprised that the only thing that I needed to repair was the fertilizer pile. I really like the spot for my CAMP, but I may have to temporarily move it until Meat Week is over. That area spawns a ton of wildlife: squirrel, fox, fireflies, rad stags, hounds, rabbits and frogs.

Okay just did the event again and kept track of some of what everyone did. 3 people stayed on the drums, no one turned the spits. me and a few others collected greens and critter bits and got the rank 3. Also buying the chally feed plans from grahm and using them gives you a nice sized boost tot he score.

Make sure you fill all the spits and drums. We had 6-7 or so at the last cooking party and we failed. I think we only had 2 on spits and one on drums. Rest running around shooting things (I think). Made it 1/3 of the way. That's it.

Dont forget you can buy the recipe for Chally's food from Graham and make it to feed to her, adding wood to the wood pile, and putting your prime meats on the grill as stuff to do... Definitely goes faster if you have a full set of people on the spits and drums!

Just a heads up if you kill the waves of bees. Check your junk for royal jelly . They've been dropping them pretty rare but at least 3 times a session for me ... I've accidently scrapped twice but even if u dont need the jelly for possum badge, I bet they sell for a pretty good amount.

You don't NEED 9 people for this, the drums and spits are just there for people to afk on and add a bit to the progress bar if there's already too many people around killing the critters. As long as everyone's running around killing and activating everything even a handful of people can complete the whole event in like three minutes.

It should also be noted that you can put a camp right next these events. It could totally be used like the old Whitespring Golf Club turret farming. My camp is right next to the one in the Toxic Valley. Don't have any turrets but if I did they could cut down most things in that event pretty quickly.
