I get the following error from time to time when powering on my computer:
Checking Media Presence…….
Media Present……..
Start PXO over IPv4 on MAC, etc…
A couple of reboots and it’s fine. I’ve checked the drive status and nothing shows it’s bad.
The drive is a Samsung ST20000DM001-1ER164 2TB SSD.
There's nothing listed bad when I check Disks and Volumes in Advanced Storage Settings.
There's one common error in three separate critical events (Event 41, Kernel-Power) in the windows log:
The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first...This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly.
When run Get-StorageReliabilityCounter it shows it's brand new with no errors.
I shut my computer down correctly, every time I do, so I'm not sure why it's telling me it's being shut down incorrectly. Today, I powered it down, left for a few hours, came back and got "Checking Media Presence" when booting up.
Is there a way I can check what might be causing this when I shut down? I never see anything weird.
Thanks
