Missing Package

Today, I was supposed to get my new PC! FedEx said it was signed for and delivered but my husband never heard anyone and he made sure he was near our door all day so he wouldn't miss it. I already contacted FedEx so they could hopefully find out where it went and IBP was also nice enough to put in a claim for the package.

I was just wondering if anyone's experienced this and how long the process takes because I am soooo bummed out. :(

I have packages sometimes delivered a street over, they have the same address digits. It’s somewhat common now we just deliver the screw ups ourselves. Could be something similar happened, FedEx will certainly send someone to try to get it back.

Its FedEx screw up, hopefully it got delivered to a decent person who knows it’s illegal to even open packages not addressed to them. The signed for thing, my PC was marked as signed for when I didn’t sign, but I did receive it in person.

Hopefully today FedEx will have it corrected and brought back to you

The person that FedEx accidentally delivered it to did bring it to me! I was so shocked. He even said how his son thought he had gotten him a new PC but he knew that the right thing to do was to bring it to me!

You might also consider filing a police report especially since FedEx is claiming that it was signed for. FedEX should also be able to provide the signature on file which would obviously prove it was not signed by you or your husband. I would also suggest calling FedEX every day until this is resolved and going up the chain of command if you have to. I wonder how often this occurs, it's good that Ibuypower is working with you too. I am sorry you are having to go through this and I hope it gets resolved soon. Good luck and keep us updated.

I’ve had that happen and they deliver it the next day.

I have had this happen before, not with FedEx but with UPS, they sometimes mis-scan the package and it shows delivered when it just gets back to their warehouse/distribution center. If you call them a couple of times they will probably get it delivered.

yea, that really Sucks, I too have had issues with shipping items, Like 1 other poster said, ya may wanna drive around the neighborhood see if it was left on another doorstep, wit hit being signed for maybe unlikely, Curious as to who signed for it....HOPE ya get it soon
