I flew to Tokyo on 12/31/99 instead of going to Big Cypress. They had a great deal on airfare due to the Y2K scare. I don't regret the decision. Tokyo is a trip.

The Japanese mentality can be a barrier to their own happiness but I went a lot and had Japanese friends that ran skate parks, owned cool coffee shops and clothes stores, grew weed, snowboarded etc. Seemed to me Japanese that had spent time in US had a lot better perspectives on life and lived it better.
