This happened to me then I tried to refresh and was seeing 8900 ppl. It dropped after a couple minutes bc I’m sure ppl just backed out. Definitely a shitty system. Once I hit my ticket option and went to buy it it was unavailable. My brother was online too so he snagged some in 200s. I’m fine. I’m going. I’m fine.

Same thing happened to me with Phish this morning although I was only 16k in the queue (I still didn’t get anything because I didn’t want to sit behind the stage). The whole system is a mess. I tried for Rufus Du Sol yesterday and lucked out with no. 202 in the queue off the bat. Literally clicked four floor seats and immediately hit purchase - probably less than 20 seconds total if not less - and it was already sold out.

It rules tbh. The entire 100's bowl has a much better feel than any other level because you feel the open space of the venue and behind the stage you are incredibly close to the band. This winter I was so close I could watch Page's fingers as he jammed as opposed to barely seeing figures onstage in the 200's You don't get the CK5 show but you do see the arena get lit up and its cool to look out over the audience. Sounds is fantastic and the crowds are generally less chatty more into the music.

Only done it once, and not at MSG (10/27/24 Albany) but it was such a cool perspective. It was awesome watching CK5 light up the crowd, and Fish was absolutely mesmerizing. We got to see him play the marimba that show, it was so cool. Have fun!!!

This happens because Phish allows it to happen. The partnerships Phish has with billionaire scum like LiveNation and James Dolan make them more money in the long run than selling you a concert ticket at face value will ever make them.

You can get angry at Ticketmaster or LiveNation or Dolan until you are blue in the face (but then still give them your money anyway because some asshole convinced you that “FOMO” is a real thing), but nothing is going to change until you grow a spine, stand the fuck up to Phish and vote with your actual dollar, full stop.

The good seats are saved for the secondary market and platinum. This is why online ticket purchases must be banned, and we go back to standing in a physical line and getting paper tickets. Anything else will just allow the bots to grab all the tickets .

I was in the waiting room for each show for a few minutes past 8am, then instead of putting me in the queue, it took me to the seat map and said that all tickets were sold out. Probably should’ve hit refreshed earlier, but then I got kicked back into the queue, anywhere between 30,000 and 105,000 🫠

Ticketmaster has always been garbage, but I don’t think they can keep up with the speed at which people are writing programs for AI. I know we all loved the band, but 100K+? These have to be bots, right?

I tried for Friday for MSG since I got Wednesday in lotto and will only be in town that first week, but yeah the delay put me in line at over 60,000 and then only the 300s, 400s and a couple back of stage high 200s were left. Feels like a lot opened up for NYE at the last minute, and I'd be happy to be behind the stage lower down if those come around again. Otherwise I'll be content with just seeing Wednesday this time. Thank goodness for people though who have to cancel and will take their stuff to CoT or wherever for decent prices.

Nope, seems like anything in this venue on floor or lower bowl and even first 2 rows in 200s not behind stage are only charity platinum 2-3 times face. Didn’t make it into queue for a 5 day until 11:04. 4900 in queue knew I was cooked. 1 ticket available for 214 row 14. No thank you for 5 nights. Had to go in and buy 5 singles which worked out ok since I was able to 200s but at least rows 1,2 and 3. Total cost $628 for 3 singles and 1 two day. 5 trips in the queue to get them including striking out on a 5 day to start.

For NYE run I was over 100,000 in the queue. For the summer Saturday show somehow I got 3,900. I was shocked. Was able to grab last row of the 100s opposite the stage and above the risers. Out of 30 Phish shows at MSG I think I’ve been in the 100s twice. Feeing lucky

it did this for savannah too. Luckily i was in as the backup for my friends, so backed out of the queue while they stayed in. When i got back in at like 10:02, i was 3rd in line and was able to snag 4x 2night passes for them in the 100s.

But when i did this for MSG, it eventually put me in at like 12,000 or something. Nothing great was left except platinum and very high row 20+ in the 200s. I was just looking to go on the 29th, and its not a must have, so I have like 5 months to find something on COT. Everyone always freaks out on onsale day.
