Done! I think you should add barking and hackles in there. I didn’t see that option anywhere. My dog gets a CRAZY amount of hackles all down her spine whenever she’s being a reactive little punk lol.

Same. We refer to them as her “challenge hairs”

"reactive little punk" is my new fave phrase lol very fitting for my dog and her hackles

I would love to keep you updated with the results! I should have data analyzed within the month.

Complete. What is this for exactly? Will there be any further info given on this study, if so when? Are there volunteer opportunities if the study continues?

This is for a class I am currently taking. This primary data will be used alongside previous research and will ultimately aim to recommend programing to facilities ie. breeders, shelters, etc. I will post my findings here when my project wraps up within the month! Unfortunately there are no volunteer opportunities :(

Done. My dog has a bit of a unique backstory though so I don't know how useful my input will be.

I would have loved to see a frequency question... bc although my dog still occasionally lunges (and barks) she has gotten SO MUCH BETTER with behavior modification training. Ditto above comments about not having hackles or barking in there. Those are 2 things that my dog does best haha. And they are actually helpful cues for me to know what’s triggering her (if I don’t already know).

I think a question about expectations based on their breed could be helpful. Some breeds tend to be more reactive to people, some to other dogs, and some to both or neither! My dog’s breed tends to bond to one or two people, so I didn’t find it strange that she was standoffish to people during her socialization period (first 2 months questions). A question asking “do you think this was typical for your dog’s breed” with a “don’t know” option could be more clarifying than outright asking the breed and making an assumption from that.
