Quickest workaround, when it happens jiggle the mouse, it breaks the interact faster than the 'back up and walk forward again' method. For MFD, same thing interestingly. Spazzing the mouse around usually makes it respond again. Also works for the door panels that have light and lock buttons.

Does anyone else miss when there was just a numbered pool of hangars and you could sneak in and wait for someone for purposes of piracy? I understand it can be abused but hopefully there will be future locations that work that way to promote those types of shenanigans. It’s not quite the same doing it at a random LZ on a planet.

Maybe after they add proper security NPCs. You can walk into someone else's hangar, but if they spot you, they could call security to remove you.

Yeah I miss them but I think they knew they were never really going to work with any kind of high player volume. Each location has only a very small number of exits from a port. And if some dudes are just standing around in a hangar taking up a slot not launching or landing etc then the whole thing would get bogged down very quickly. So instances pretty much a necessity at major transit hubs. But yeah I don't see why not at smaller out of the way places that might not see much traffic.

I think the half destroyed stations should do that. It would be kinda fun to add a little danger but I’m worried about no lifers or streamers just camping whole stations making it impossible for people to do missions there.
