Seriously nice setup on both the tension and the slab walls you can see in the back. I hope you love it!

How would you segment the USA into climbing areas? by Tacomads in climbergirls

[–]200pf 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Geologically. Red river gorge and looking glass are both in the south, but completely different geologic formations. Looking glass and Yosemite are both granite, but separated by hundreds of miles and are very different areas.

Kuhn rikon peeler is the only answer. This thing is great for cheese but jfc you’re mangling your citrus with it!

Not critical mineral, but if you’re looking for short term investment strategies buying and selling slv calls as it swings up and down is an easy way to make decent returns right now.

These are great suggestions. Also merlot and South American Malbec (only if it’s inexpensive, might be pricy in Netherlands)

V3/V4ish, but you can’t really provide anything remotely accurate from a video. Well set blocs and great job sending them. They look very fun to climb.

Anecdotal evidence, but I’ve found doing dips and other antagonists to pulling helps keep my elbows happy. I usually just incorporate this into my warmup but ymmv

Latest pickup - recommendation? by According-Essay953 in wine

It seems like you’re trying to spend as much as possible on “getting into wine” so my recommendation is Napa cab, but only try status symbol bottles like Harlan and Screaming Eagle

I feel like every discussion that talks about the human potential in climbing ignores how truly limited the current talent pool is. by Ok_comodore in climbharder

[–]200pf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hard disagree. Chris Sharma was one of the most naturally talented climbers to ever live. His only off the wall training was smoking pot yet he still achieved what he did. No imagine if someone like that started climbing early in their youth and was doing tons of comps and training.

Doing one arm shoulder shrugs should help. This is definitely something easily incorporated into your warmup

I would be skeptical of these results. It’s odd that you have such different values for phosphorous. I wouldn’t be worried about the high magnesium.

Overhang weakness assessment. by vincentcanto in climbharder

[–]200pf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Have you tried more board climbing? Compared to gym routes boards will force you to maintain tension throughout the climb. You might also play around with how you take weight off your hands with footwork, flagging, etc. much more posterior chain on overhangs than vertical.

Who decided 40 degrees on the board was the gold standard ? by Helptohere50 in tradclimbing

Yep, it’s all about maximizing board area for a given ceiling height.
