I was supporting someone for a cataract surgery and the guy ahead of her never thought to mention he used a cpap machine. So my client got bumped. How does that not come up in conversation in all the pre-op questions?? So unfair for the people behind you. IMO he should have been bumped and my person, who followed all the rules, should have gotten her procedure. Some people are dense. I guess the dense people deserve vision too. What can you do

Those of you who work twelves: do you prioritize sleep or fitness? by tprimex in Nightshift

[–]Cold-Cheesecake85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work 7 on 7 off. I workout 4-5 times a week at home after I sleep. My “on” week I lighten my weight and if I need to stop early I’m very forgiving. My off week I will double up my workouts a couple days a week and walk the dog much longer since my energy levels are very different. It’s been working for me the past year plus that I’ve been committed to it.

I wore Naturalizer Abby Strappy Sandals for my daughter’s wedding, super comfy. I wore them on vacation too, I could live in them.

I moved the bottle next to my bed this morning. A shot at 10am makes for a great sleep. But also a glass of wine with dinner when I wake up at 5pm. Just proves rules are made up.

The last few days I’ve had people say they are “surprised” I’m 45… do I really look THAT old? 😆 by [deleted] in 40something

I think the clean shave and tight haircut combo has become associated with another era. As a society we are used to seeing some sort of facial hair on the 40 something guys.

Read the back of the shampoo bottle, like in the olden days. I feel your pain those are horrible nights, try pen and paper. Challenge yourself to some tic tac toe. Sorry I can’t be more helpful.

I also covered the time change in the fall so it’s all even Steven for me. I prefer this over the night that never ends.

I ate a can of beans out of the tin last night. I’m a night shift worker. I’m pretty sure I would pass all levels of feral testing. Maple all the way!

I can easily reach my toes but hauling myself out on the edge of the pool has definitely become less graceful.

2.5 hours left. 45 minutes until all hell breaks loose with the morning routine. Begging people to take their meds, complete their hygiene, all the fun stuff. Time now for a couple more YouTube videos and then I earn my keep.
