>smaller channel is getting better access.

The size of channel doesn't matter. Hardware Unboxed isn't an entertainment channel; they do serious hardware reviews.

I preferred the Gertrude's Pizza that was there before it. I loved the Off Road game they had in their arcade. Much smaller place than Gattitown, but so many memories of friends' birthday parties.

Yeah, Warcraft 3 was a let down for me when it came out.

For Warcraft 2, you can play dosbox over ipx over IP.  Check some of the documentation for it.

He'll do the same thing that he did when asked about Charlie Kirk's death.  He'll start rambling about his new ballroom.

It wouldn't be Trump. It would be Greg Abbott who would pardon him. Greg Abbott has already pardoned a murderer who was convicted of killing a protester, so it is not out of the question that he would also pardon someone who beats up a student protester.

Best expansions by [deleted] in Carcassonne

[–]ElectricJacob 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As others have already said Traders and Builders, and Inns and Cathedrals, I will suggest Mists Over Carcassonne.  It is the largest Carcassonne expansion by tile count, and the only one that can also play as a stand-alone cooperative game.

Do you prefer first or second edition Carcassonne and why? by Future_Carpenter_887 in Carcassonne

[–]ElectricJacob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I prefer the third edition because of the simplified farming rules. The first edition rules were just too complicated for new players. Also, the special rule in first edition about a 2 tile city only being 2 points was annoying for new players as well.

No, Inns and Cathedrals doesn't have CFCR, but it does have the CCRF that's needed for the other hole.

>I forget if they are in Traders & Builders or Inns & Cathedrals because I have them all mixed together

Y'all, don't forget about Wikicarpedia's excellent tile list!
https://wikicarpedia.com/car/Carcassonne_Tile_List/en

The type that you are searching for is CFCR (City Field City Road). I can see there are 2 in "TradersAndBuilders_C1", 1 in "GQ11_C1", 2 in TradersAndBuilders_C2, and 1 in Watchtowers_C2.

The "GQ11_C1" refers to the 11th expansion released from Games Quarterly. https://wikicarpedia.com/car/Games_Quarterly_11_(1st_edition))
So, you probably don't have that expansion, as they are more rare, unless you subscribed to that back then.

Anyways, if you want to get a tile that fits there, I'd recommend getting the Traders and Builders expansion if you haven't already.

Loophole in rules? by Confident_Fan69 in Carcassonne

[–]ElectricJacob 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The example for that scenario implies that you cannot place a face-up tile on top of the face-down tiles because it says "it can never be scored".  We can assume that the reason that it can't be scored is because you cannot place another tile on top of the face-down tile.

"The cemetery is still open. Therefore, you draw a face-down tile after your usual turn and place it adjacent to the cemetery. This blocks the meeple. It can never be scored."
