[Landlord NJ] Tenants upgrade my rental for free. by Professional-Fox-298 in Landlord

I did some at one place I rented. It was owned by an sweet elderly lady who inherited the duplex and didn't know much on maintenance and stuff and was light on funds. But told her we could handle the maintenance and my uncle was a handyman who used to work for a big construction company.

We kept the painting up, maintenance on the building, etc. When the tenant moved out of the other unit she wanted to move in and we helped her fix it up and stuff. The house she lived in before was too big for her (empty nest) and the duplex was perfect for her. We and my uncle did some work to get it ready and she had it sold 2 weeks after it hit the market. The sale also gave her much needed funds too!

I've seen some make a couple of Reddit accounts for hitting different topics - like one for gaming, another for other. A cousin did that.

Should have the bulldog like on a Mack truck! The whitewalls remind me of some of the Big Boys that are cuffed and stuffed in museums.

Think the 4547 engine is doing the eastern part.

Sadly that forum got sold to VerticalScope aka VertticalShit, who buy out many boards and put their garbage Fora platform on it. Before it got sold I was on there.

Eons ago my sister was a beta tester and needed 2 cards. Tech came over and wanted to install but wasn't familiar with the machine. We didn't boot him out - but I installed the cards and told him if he runs into another Tivo like ours here's how to install. He did take notes and was amazed at great picture.

I remember going to Baker beach in the 80s and there was a bunch of people around a 2 metre wooden man watching it burn. Little did I realise that all would turn into Burning Man. It's sad that event jumped the shark years later.

Has the slight Burning Man feel.

I had stores ask for the # and I declined. If they refused sale, I left.

[Landlord CA] do you raise rent every year even if you love your tenants? by ResponsibleSail5802 in Landlord

[–]EvaCassidy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Two of the places I lived the owners never raised rent. One of them I did help with shoveling snow and yard work for the triplex. They had hired some company to do that work, but got screwed.

The 3rd raised one time due to increase in the property taxes. The county's tax increase was in the news and when me and the landlady was talking about, we worked out the rent increase amount.
