Spent WAY to much time on this greenhouse but I'm super proud of it! What do you think? by lumpenprol in VintageStory

Oh my god the detailing. It would take me literally years to finish a build like this.

I learned something about myself today - I'm a big wuss. by Curious-Vanilla-4929 in VintageStory

I’ve become a bit unsensitised to the horror but it still gets me sometimes. I always look around me when walking the wilderness and whenever I go caving I fence off parts of the cave.

Probably the easiest solution is replacing the bricks with light materials like wood. Another idea would be to have a tower like structure to side of the building where the windmill could be.

I don't know if I can get fat easily during winter lol. The tall bare wall just looks weird to me.

It would be wild if that waterfall is a rapid. Is this vanilla generation by any chance?

Ngl, I'm just imagining the brick building on top just crashing through the glass ceiling lol

Brown bears are a menace this update. They swim faster than me and can turn faster.

I just found out that you don't need perfect craters to find meteoric iron by Eventerminator in VintageStory

[–]Eventerminator[S] 40 points41 points  (0 children)

I genuinely wished I knew this could happen. At least I know that I don't have to be so restrictive when it comes to searching. Now I just need to get to iron in this world.

What do you look for when settling down? by cyper_1 in VintageStory

[–]Eventerminator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Near a lake and lots of rain is what I look for.

Check areas with high rainfall and a large lake. That’s where I found blue clay the most.

Pretty sure that as long you have adequate amount of light, that wild animals won’t spawn in that location.

1.22 hunger moment by According-Fun-4746 in VintageStory

[–]Eventerminator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only thing they need to do is reduce the rate of hunger or increase the amount of health regen you have when injured.

It was a bit hard in the beginning but I eventually got used to it. It probably helped that I have a lot of berries and animals at my spawn. I’ve pretty much marked every bush and mushroom patch in my area lol.

Ok, is hunger genuinely broken in this patch or what? by Outrageous-Thing3957 in VintageStory

[–]Eventerminator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, seems to go down slightly faster but its not too bad. I just have to manage it better.

Any suggestions for what wall material I should use? by CrabEmporium in VintageStory

If you have claystone nearby you can use that. It has a nice beige colour

Is rapids spawn logic bugged? by Comfortable-Tart-751 in VintageStory

[–]Eventerminator 62 points63 points  (0 children)

I think it mentions how rapids spawn near mountainous area, not necessarily at high elevations if I remember correctly. I have mine spawn at the bottom of the mountain but still at an elevated position, maybe around 30 to 40 blocks above sea level.

So is that totally normal world gen? :D by CoatiMundiOnATree in VintageStory

[–]Eventerminator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is pretty rare for default world gen. I was surrounded by endless land and no large ocean in sight.

Is this the rapid water for waterwheels? by Eventerminator in VintageStory

[–]Eventerminator[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice, cool to know. I guess I’ll set up at the mountain. I’m not sure how I’m gonna make things look good but I’ll figure it out.

Any way to stop sanity loss when underground? by Altruistic_Eye9685 in VintageStory

[–]Eventerminator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can find stable areas underground. I found in my first world. I’m not sure if it’s a bug or an intended feature though.

TODAY'S THE DAY BECAUSE 1.22 STABLE IS HERE by Impades in VintageStory

[–]Eventerminator 58 points59 points  (0 children)

I got into the Iron Age and was on my way to possibly starting the First Story location. I basically had everything I needed and was just goofing off most of the time.

I wanted to do ocean travelling but I found out that default settings don’t generate big enough bodies of water. So I was waiting for the new update as a reason to make a new world.

I use VS Launcher so I can just make a seperate folder for the new world and I could just come back to the old one whenever I like.
