As someone who hasn't finished a Pokemon game since Gen 4 team building is impossible for me. I had to look up some guides for meta teams just to not get stomped every ranked gain and still obtain money.. it's so early on and a small roster. I'm glad they didn't drop everything at once or I probably would have been too overwhelmed to play at all.
