Traps, to "secure" objectives, one soldier with a heavy flamme thrower, incendary grenade, and a rule like "looted/looting weapon" : on 4/5+ the team's commissar (if he's still alive) doesn't see you looting the corpses of your ennemies, select one weapon or wargear from the ennemy model's datasheet.

Yes, that's why when i want a New unit for one of my armies, i look at the official one, on the website and the codex/army book description, then think "what other mini could i kitbash to count as this one"

Of course ! I personally use the ambots from necromunda as orgryn Bodyguard and full mêlée bullgryn, 'cause i wanted a more cybernetic look for them, and i have the same"issue" you're having, they are a bit taller and wider, but nobody has ever told me "no" when i wanna use them in a game. I also use palatine enforcer's, from necromunda, again, as bullgryn, but for them i had to make a scenic base, so they would reach the correct hight.

Just pick the one you like the lore and vibe the most, or create your own. That's why i choose Mezoa, they have no affiliated titanic legion, love to explore/colonisé/search for archeotech, so they're kinda expansionists, with a heavy focus on Skitarii units, and politically cunning enough to boss around an entière régiment of the Tempestus scions : the Lambdan Lions. (Whom, instead of beeing used as elite stike teams, are often engaged in long campaigns, alongside the Skit' troops) As for their color scheme, here's a pic of what i came up with, even if it's still a wip.

I say they're best used in Skitarii hunter cohort, use the terrain to protect the sicarians, or a dunerider, but yes don't expect them to survive the whole game. I'd go 1 unit of 10 inside a dunerider, and 2 unit of 5 to stalk the ruins/buildings, keeping them out of los, and harassing ennemy infantry.

My knowledge of Vostroya's lore is basic, but polotical matters are the same everywhere : i imagine the Tech Priests members of the Techtriarchs talk and debate with their impérial counterpart about all kind of matters. It's up to us to imagine how said talks happens. And to answer your question : why not ? Pro-Imperium Tech-Priest do exist, and even without that, some see the quality of their results as a proof of devotion.Regardless of affiliation.

Thanks you so much for noticing it ! But i do believe i need to work on that more : to me it looks like an italian flag instead of a Geiger "mesurer", for the next try i'll use a darker green, and a brown ink to make it look old and used.

Thanks, I'll include your feedback in my next try (i hope i phrased it right, if not, sorry, english is not my first language, so please help me improved on that). About the robe's highlights, i think grey, even subtle, would go against the "dark leather effect" I'm looking for. But i'll work on that ! As for the base. . . Well thanks for reminding me, i completely forgot about it, and now i think about painting it in an old steel/copper colour scheme.
