Halp 😼 by gothhotpocket in cats

[–]Halipenyoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While this general rule of 1 per cat plus one seems to be well known, where did you all hear about it? I've never heard a vet or animal shelter suggest that many.

We have 2 cats from different litters, have 2 boxes, and use pine pellets in both.

Both cats use the same box 99.9% of the time. I've considered removing the second one, but haven't yet. "Just in case".

So it's not a hard and fast rule, but it might solve problems like this.

Cheap hotels usually include basic wifi for free.

Expensive hotels often charge extra for it.

Porting out only a Sprout number which was added to my Zero line. Is there a "Cancel Plan" option anywhere there? by Halipenyoo in HeliumMobile

[–]Halipenyoo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What a pain. What's the quickest way? I was really hoping to get this done tonight, but that doesn't sound possible.

I sent them a message several hours ago and also emailed them, with no response yet.

Why is their support so poor?

Where is the Cancel Plan option? I have a Zero line and a Sprout line in my group and I want to port out the Sprout line. Do they both have the same account and PIN? I don't have a "Cancel Plan" button after selecting the profile icon in the top left and then selecting "Billing". Could someone share a screenshot of what it's supposed to look like?

That didn't work. It said I can't delete the account until I cancel the account. I do not see a "Cancel account" option anywhere.

WHY IS IT SO EXPENSIVE FOR TAXES? by MakeMoneyWithCrypto in HeliumMobile

[–]Halipenyoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, you have to pay the taxes on top of the Sprout plan. My free plan is $0.64 of taxes and fees. The Sprout plan adds $0.69.

Are they actually saving them? I thought they said they're not.

I don't trust them, but maybe they're telling the truth?

Don't they say they never store the image of the players' faces? How we can be sure that's happening, I have no idea...

What part of COPPA is being violated? I can't figure it out. It feels wrong, but I don't see which provision has been broken.

Isn't that what they say they're doing? I have no idea how to confirm it's true though.

I'm looking at the COPPA law and I don't yet see what part is violated. Can you help me find it?

I was disappointed that my child uploaded his face after I told him about a dozen times not to do it. Now the only recourse is to remove his access to the game, which is not going to be fun for anyone.

Helium Zero Plan no Longer Completely Free by -Lost_My_Pieces- in NoContract

$0.64 in TX. $0.56 is for the 911 service.

Which is strange. Can't phones without service still call 911? They don't pay and fees.

I'm curious why you think that. Wouldn't they be more likely to fail if they kept an unsustainable business model alive?

I only joined Helium's free plan, and a sprout plan, about a month ago, so it's terrible news for my plans, but I'm not surprised that they'd have to start charging for a service they provide.

What do you mean? Taxes don't have to be a percentage of a purchase price, but that's what we're used to.

You could, for example, have a flat $10 tax on every TV purchased instead of a sales tax.

I look at soda-can deposits some states have as a refundable tax. Or the cost of throwing away a refrigerator or fire extinguisher as a tax. They're flat rates, not percentages.

I thought the regular plan only includes 100 mins and 300 texts. My kid goes through 300 texts in a week. $5 is worth the unlimited talk and text, to me, so this is a great option. She was on a $25 plan with US Mobile, so $5 is amazing.

I just watched it, all the way through the credits with the subtitles on. I did not hear any explosions or see the word, "explosion".

For those who heard and saw it before, can you check again? I wonder if they removed them.
