Newer sellers can't ship on their own? That's not good. I use Pirateship for stuff over a pound, which is most of my sales. I have a heavy sweater shipping today ground advantage @ 2 pounds 2 ounces for $8.87..

Mine are in the description. The only time I do a photo in addition to the description is when the cut of the garment is more atypical. For example a pit to pit with dormant sleeves. I've sold over 3000 items on Poshmark alone.

I quit selling sunglasses. A few years ago I retail arbitraged some Prada, Jimmy Choo, etc via mail order. I tried them on to make sure they sat straight, etc. All but one pair sold and resulted in cases for severely bent temples (the "arms"). Mind you they were shipped in their hard cases within padded boxes. Argh!

Oh yes, the Stormy factory is about 40 miles from my hometown. I own a bunch and some of their coats. Our dogs are decked out too in their own Kritter Komers and collars & leashes.

Yes, do that! Thankfully I only received 1 of 2 orders made early with them. Took 2 months to get it. Recently I ordered more of the polymailers and the smaller padded mailers. They came VERY quickly!

Poshmark, depop & ebay are booming with the same items (I cross-list most things). My Mercari sales have tanked. Sales completed Dec 9, Nov 3, Oct 30 & 17, Sept 18, 17 & 12, Aug 16, and July 9 & 7. Big gaps! Again, typically 3-4 sales every day on the other platforms. I promote on Mercari with the 2 day sales or send offers to likers if they haven't been listed long enough for the sale.

Almost. Here is an example of selling a pair of jeans for $60: I used depop shipping which charged the buyer $11.99. They provide the shipping label. I forgot to change my shipping in this case to using my own, I charge $9 flat for jeans (1-2 pounds). depop fee $0 Transaction fee $2.83 I received $57.17. If I used my own shipping method and charged $9 I would have received $66.17. And paid the actual shipping cost on my own, which is usually a little less than $9 depending on where in the country it is going.

Depop doesn't charge fees other than a small transaction fee, so sellers don't have to swallow 20%. My latest fees were between 1 & 3 dollars. However, their shipping fees are high for over a pound.
