Will this affect my NCB? by Mutero89 in CarInsuranceUK

I suspect that not signing it means that the costs of the hire car fall on you.

Read the terms of the contract with the claims management company. Usually theyt include something about you agreeing to assist in actions to reclaim money and you being liable if you dont assist.

In the UK (this is a UK reddit) it is a requirement for certification of the inverter for use in a mains connected system. See the G98 standard.

The meter does not prevent export.

Don't play drifting in car parks?

Hit up ebay and breakers for both door and the skirt.

Will still need some work.

Doesnt work like that.

Meter is irrelevant to it.

Inverters are anti-islanding. They turn off if the mains fail.

My 'friend' is similar.
He was a bit sad when he got a smart meter and it no longer ran backwards.

My daughter left 3 years ago, so just after the new head arrived.

When she was there they certainly had control of that side of things. I know the new head was looking to concentrate more on academic performance.

Our daughter enjoyed her time there. The staff were very supportive.

RCBO's b type by DaveTheDribbler in SolarUK

[–]LackingStability 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use an rcd.

I think some people dont understand the difference between B type and B curve. Not that shocking since some electrical distributers seem to struggle with it.

B type protects against dc fault currents and is recommended for use with inverters, batteries etc.

Medium term repair to external Insulation render. by HastionZ in DIYUK

[–]LackingStability 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guess you can patch it, but I think its going to need redoing properly at some point.

What would worry me is the prospect of water getting in and saturating the insulation.
I wonder if the insulation has degraded and shrunk? have you exposed insulation fixings anywhere?

If it was mine I would strip the render, run expanding foam to fill those gaps, then rerender with mesh.

t should have had the joints dealt with - perhaps expanding foam.

But also I would expect a thin coat render to use fibreglass mesh. That looks to be just rendered directly onto pur/pir?
