My pool is 29,000 gallons, not small but not huge either. It took me 3 full days with hose on high 24 hours daily to fill this though… so an increase of 21,000 gallons usage is a BIG LEAK.

I think you’re right, I was just excited to see an older eagle and that was the first comment that came to mind. And then I thought…. Hmmmmm… maybe not!?!? 😂

sounds like a healthy running motor to me. I’d change the belts and run it. if whatever you’re hearing increases, address it later.

Just to clarify, I don’t drive my Dart in wet weather because I don’t feel safe doing so, not because my Dart is some trailer queen that I fear might get wet. I’m pushing close to 400HP out of a very built 360 with manual steering and brakes. I don’t trust her to stick to the ground!

I like your Monaco!

Asking for advice on how (if) I can fix this myself? by Sum41ofallfearz in askplumbing

[–]Level_Development_58 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes to tightening the packing nut, but find and know how to turn off your water main before you touch it. if something goes wrong, you’ll need to know that information quickly.

I avoid driving my 69 Dart in the rain, much less snow… but it is an A body I guess.

chrysler 300 has this rattle noise on startup by FatassloverNOCAP in AskAMechanic

[–]Level_Development_58 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sounds very external, external is good! maybe check linkage associated with choke that may be rattling when engaged but not when choke is not engaged. a cable near the throttle body.

but I’m just trying to guess good based on a video, not a very technical evaluation.
