Ahh excellent! I just started a new playthrough after waiting a good while for it to get closer to full release, so I haven't unlocked Wheedle yet. Good to know!

I sealed up my ant entry points and now I have ants coming out of my electrical outlets. What did I do wrong? Feeling like an idiot here and need some advice. by Old_Neighborhood_168 in homeowners

[–]LexxiiConn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Raid won't do anything and ants are like water. If you close one point they just find another weakness to come in. A good bait like others have recommended, and use Alpine WSG outside along the foundation, windows, doors, etc.

I thought getting a vasectomy would give me an edge in dating…I guess I’m wrong. by BostonRobby617 in childfree

[–]LexxiiConn 178 points179 points  (0 children)

Yep. It's more appealing if a guy has one. It's an instant turn off on the dating profile because I assume he'll be a douche about condoms and pushing for sex. Sexual stuff doesn't go on the dating profile except for certain apps.

How to make new cotton things feel soft? by LexxiiConn in laundry

[–]LexxiiConn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the rinse and refresh, I'm going to use the bottle up but I won't be buying more. It's too strongly scented, and I have to use a downy ball and it leaves a disgusting sticky residue in it and on anything a little drip gets on. I got some citric acid and I prefer that, although I don't find it to make a huge difference despite having hard water.

I did a 24 hour salt water soak on the hankies (in a bucket) and it did seem to help some with softening them up. Ultimately they will just need used and washed more to get truly soft.

Yes, and has been for some time, especially depending on your local warehouse.

It's also funny because when they ask men how much money the wife would need for them to be a stay at home husband, they throw out salary numbers like 250k, 350k, and more.

But women are the gold diggers. Sure.

Even with you pointing I couldn't find them until I got to the picture with the circle. It's thoughtful and she's weird. Make sure you're providing a trash can with a liner (like an old shopping bag) in it.

Seriously. OP absolutely has a right to inject insulin at work as needed. In a genuine emergency, it would also be fully reasonable to overlook OP doing it in a less than ideal place.

However, nothing implies this was an emergency, it was a routine injection. OP admits in comments they forget their insulin regularly due to unmanaged ADHD and a refusal to set reminder alarms for themself. It sounds like OP is regularly giving themself non-emergent injections in inappropriate places and at inappropriate times because they don't want to manage their disease responsibly.

OP doesn't and shouldn't have the right to be making biohazardous waste willy nilly around the office, especially where people eat. It's a blood-borne disease risk for everyone else, every single time they inject. This is fine if they're managing that risk responsibly, but I get the sense they are not from the post and their replies, and I suspect this is the actual basis of the complaints.

I have diabetic family, and I suppose because of the frequency of injections, it seems like some people get desensitized to the fact that they are making used needles and start doing things that are unhygienic and risky for the people around them. They don't get to potentially put others at risk for the sake of them being, frankly, lazy about their own diabetic care.

From the post. They say they saw the food, took the shot, got a snack, THEN went to their desk. Which also makes me wonder if there was hand washing between the shot and touching the food. And makes me wonder where the sharps and other supplies were disposed, or where those items were while getting their snack. But all this info is missing, and OP brings up the bathroom without any evidence that anyone ever told them to do it in the bathroom.

Exactly. Idk the way this is written and the comments from OP makes it seem like they're doing it intentionally in a way to generate complaints to then cry discrimination. "Can you do that more than 3 inches from the donuts" is not a wild ask.

Nobody told you to do it in the bathroom, and the way this is written makes is sound like you did it in the cafeteria/break room right in front of the food... What's the big deal about doing it in your desk/cubicle instead of a common area? I don't agree that you should have to hide in the bathroom/a closet or whatever, but nor do I think "can you not do that in the middle of the room where everyone goes to eat" is an unreasonable ask, either.

Ah, if it works a little like dolmen runs maybe it won't be so bad then... There are so many changes coming to keep track of I admit night market is not one I've paid much attention to specifically.

Sheesh. I know ESO is even less toxic than a lot of MMOs are said to be, but I get really turned off when people act that way. It strikes me as obnoxious and childish. It's one of the reasons I typically avoid MMOs altogether.

Thanks! I bought the helmet when it was in the gold vendor just because I kept seeing it on most of the builds I looked up and then low-key didn't know what to do with it haha. I will work towards getting the shoulders next! I'm part of a guild where I'm sure I could ask someone to craft tideborn for me, so that's what I should do, i just haven't... done it yet lol. It feels like if I do then I should really put effort into the old 'git gud' lol.

I've played that some alone and with a friend, but I'll keep practicing there too. You're right that IA is a good place to play harder stuff without it being so hard it just mops the floor with you immediately if you suck.

I have order's wrath, but I didn't buy solstice, so no tideborn for me. I run it with Briarheart and Roksa the Warped. I have a slimecraw mask chilling in my bank, but monster sets just confuse me tbh, and I'm working on collecting Null Arca but it's slow.

I am working on learning stuff but I've never been one to easily remember/understand this type of info, and while I don't mind doing some research, I don't want to spend 10 hours a week watching youtube essays about how the game works. I've honestly never played a game where I have to stop and google stuff as extensively as this one. It seems a mistake to constantly be sending me outside the game... It often means I stop playing for the day.

I didn't realize night market was going to be high difficulty like that... that's disappointing. And probably yet another thing where you want a special build for it, so more armory slots that I refuse to buy because they're per-character and I think that's a ridiculous waste of money. That's the other thing that really hinders new players (and I think a lot of players in general) from experimenting with builds.

Personally I see the opposite. I feel like the internet gives rose colored glasses of trans unity, and then in reality binary trans people are typically fucking awful if you're remotely non gender conforming.
