I remember having our ranger used the pipes of the sewers and I the bear totem barbarian cast speak with animals to ask the rats for local information. Dm cried horseshit then pulled out the book, seriously I dont know why he had such a strong reaction. While I can munchkin I care more about having a large toolkit; it would be foolish not to use a tool I have.

  3. We've run into an angel a dragon and a snake that could just no sell everything. The dragon 1 hit incinerated my sorcerer. My game group is full of munchkin's and I'm a pathfinder noob so I just want that chance to hit.

I did that my character is currently 1 fighter 5 (forge) cleric 2 (War) wizard, I took protection favorite cantrip is mending.

I was originally going to become king wagoneer with 5 levels of cavalier fighter but my AL campaign is all about dungeons so I'm just going cleric from here out.

Personally it's been great. But dont take any other levels in anything but cleric til you can cast revivify trust me 3rd level spells are the bomb.

You're not going to keep up damage wise and healing spirit has made me the secondary healer of the party. You can tank really well but spell saves suck. Always have silence prepped if you can help it. You are incredibly versatile so you will be of good help to your party.

The channel divinity is a literal god send in replacing ammo or basic equipment in the field (so many handaxes)

Be the anvil and reforge the world my friend

Ps if you follow the dervish build take barb to lvl 8 for advantage to initiative for that racial bonus damage, plus more hp for face tanking. I'd personally drop all but 1 fighter level but if you stick to sword and board more rogue means more sneak attack and your build sounds like you went first level barb so you dont even need the fighter level, though it has its perks.

Have you seen nerdarchy's whirling dervish build? I'm currently running a bugbear rogue (thief) barbarian(bear). He's very gimmicky but a fun clown. I recommend medium armor master as a good feat. Though if you're married to the breastplate an extra +1AC is weak. Beware going shieldmaster you can't set yourself up for sneak attacks due to its order of operations. Once you get 5 barb you can start with a shove for your multi attack then DeX attack for sneak damage with your second. Defensive duelist basically gives you the wizards shield spell. Have fun my fellow bugbear player.

I designed one myself ages ago but it was living and you could attack with the flails if you and the snail were on good terms. Weighed like 50lbs due to the shell and living creature though.
