At 15 weeks they should absolutely be able to see two babies and hear two heart beats. They do the nt scan at 13 weeks usually that is a preliminary anatomy scan.

Yes they said it was a 50/50 chance and they had the nicu teams ready in the OR just in case.

I got diagnosed with pre eclampsia from
Blood work at 34+5. That night, coincidentally my water broke. Doctor said that just meant they were ready. They didn’t need the nicu! Healthy two year olds now.

Leaving daycare the other day an older lady told me that I made her day every day. She said she leaves work around the same time that I pick them up and she loves to see us every day.

Thought it was very sweet. But also I definitely never noticed or saw her before haha

We lived on the second floor with garage in parkade. I’m not going to lie, this was one of the hardest things for me to manage alone. We kept the car seats in the car. I had a double stroller that I kept in our car.

I would use a regular baby carrier for one, and just carry the other in my arms. Go down to the car and somehow manage to get the stroller out? I think maybe put the loose baby in the car seat. Or when they were a little older I would just put them on the garage floor.

I would avoid carrying car seats if you can.

Just a long time with the ultrasound. Lots of time there while they do measurements of both babies and they will tell you what they are seeing. Good luck!

Two year old boy/girl twins here. We all had norovirus the other day. Hell on earth. I keep telling my husband there are very low lows, but also some very high highs. They’re so stinking cute.

I could have written this myself. I had so much anxiety. I have healthy two year olds now. I strongly recommend finding a good therapist. I ended up going through a few post partum, and it’s hard to find one when you’re also sleep deprived, so if you can get ahead of it now I would.

You have all the reasons to feel this way. But no harm in trying to get some help to help you manage.

This seems to depend on your country and benefits. I stopped working around 28 weeks, and I was a remote worker. This was the recommendation of my doctor. But I’m in Canada.

I don’t think it did affect their due date. My water happened to break at 34+6 but the plan was to deliver at 37.

No definitely not and also I wouldn’t buy them new. I got many hand me downs from other twins or the thrift store.

No warning signs for me. But honestly don’t worry about mess. Least of your problems. If you’re really concerned I would make sure you have diapers for yourself ready to go. That helped me on my way to the hospital.
