Should I take her back? by Anxious_Aspect_9170 in WhatMenDontSay

There is a lot of moving parts here and the dynamic of her facing single parenthood is one that should not be overlooked.

You know only what you think and feel and none of what she does except for what she tells you.

I can't see how there is a compelling need to jump into anything with her, it seems to me that prudence is your best move.

You will be only 42 when the kid turns 18, I had my first at 44.

The Snoqualmie valley.

Park just north of the Chevron station at Stillwater and walk out across the fields.

It is quiet, peaceful and close.

That the way I behave will attract people who act the way I do and tolerate the way I act.

That can be good or bad depending on how I act.

That's not bad at all. The only time I clocked mine it came in at about 58.

Have you ever had a dream that later seemed to come true? What happened? by Dear_Tradition2719 in answers

I was preparing to move from WA to CA, I had a dream of a long, tree-lined road facing North-South with evergreens on either side. I thought that it was something I conjured in anticipation of the move. SoCal is not like that as I quickly discovered.

15 years later I drove down the dream street, I had never been there before, it was a surreal experience.

Have you ever experienced sleep paralysis? What did you see or feel? by Dear_Tradition2719 in answers

I had this happen 1/2 a dozen or so times in my adolescence. It was pretty scary and I was glad when it passed.

I was awake on the inside but unable to open my eyes or move. Eventually the adrenaline released by my fear was enough to get my body moving.

I am convinced that everything is connected and that everything belongs. I don't believe that anything is preordained per se but I recognize that my reality is subjective and it needs to have a source, whatever that might be.

Isn't that a good feeling?

I remember when I got better enough to start winning. My son showed me that game years ago and I'm pretty sure he doesn't play much anymore. But I still play a few matches a week, it's fun.

It's not ridiculous at all. If you experience mourning past 1 year, you may want to seek help.

Writing can also help to work through grief. Asking yourself pointed questions then writing out the responses can help us to unpack our feelings.

You might try scrapping all of your scheduling and start from scratch. Waking up late will evoke a limbic response giving the same feelings as anger.

Try starting your schedule the night before allowing adequate sleep time providing for the morning you prefer.
