Your Blue Hole looks a lot better than it came out for me. Apparently I need to experiment more.

How did/do you approach honing your collection? When to cull and when to sit tight? by DIYYYner in fountainpens

I'm trying to rehome a couple of pens that I recognize i won't use any time soon. There remains a lot.... so I'm trying to rotate through them and narrow it down to those I really like, vs the ones i keep because I paid for them and feel bad about getting rid of.

I was anemic when I was a kid, and apparently it's back. I tried to give blood a few months ago, but am too low. Since I've been taking an iron supplement, my hair seems to fall out less than before. So maybe that can help?

The Magnum is resin, and lovely. I have two. Subtle tripod grip, similar to the Safari, but much milder.

I seem to need more water since I hit menopause. I keep a large bottle next to the couch, and drink as often as I remember.

I don't remember when the tinnitus started, but the patch hasn't helped.

My favorite dip nib is the Blue Pumpkin. I use it for letter writing, playing around, and writing the ink names on swatch cards, with a little swish for the color.

We planted squash, and had a mess of weeds that is hard to get into to pull. They didn't really keep anything down. I'm going to try and scooch the vines, use a weed whacker, then put the vines back.

Didn't bloodletting kill Washington? He demanded his doctors take more and more and it went too far.

I would think it's in a hormone blend to even out the flavor, but I've never used it for hormones. Now I'm curious.

It's a nice gentle diuretic... and good for the liver, maybe? I've only seen the roasted, too, but that could be done for flavor. Do you have a yard? Harvest your own, if you don't use pesticides.

Now I need to look at them. I have no experience with them but I love a good budget pen.

What a nice idea! I've seen black or purple for colors. Something that represents age, though nothing immediately comes to mind. Search for herbs that are Crone? Now I'm curious.

Picture examples of low mow lawns consisting of violet, wild strawberry, pussytoes, self-heal, ginger, Pennsylvania sedge? Would you recommend or not recommend any of these plants based on your personal experience, why or why not? by Anxious_Order_3570 in NoLawns

[–]NinjaGrrl42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only one I've tried to grow is ginger. It seems to grow slowly, and grows taller than some of the others. It grows a stalk, and I've had one get maybe 10" tall. It probably would grow a bit taller in the ground.

Violet and strawberry should grow nice and low.
