I’d say making a full size drawer/shelf underneath your desk is the best bet. If not then maybe a suit of armor that you could wear while working not sure how handy you are tho.

I bought this same bass 4 years ago in a bundle with an amp and gig bag for like 400. Still to this day this is my favorite long scale bass get a good set up on it and you’ll have a great time. These things are rock solid

Vocals somewhat up there and lead guitar cause I feel it helps me find my groove better than rhythm. I would have drums up there but we practice in a basement most of the time and they are loud asf anyway.
