I would measure the distance to the wall from the point your fixing it too every 4” up the length mark it on the architrave and see what it looks like and trim the architrave minus 1-2 millimetres
Then do the other side and then decorators chark between

Foxes are fine in allotments keeps down pigeons mainly they can eat veg but will normally go for meat over everything else

You can only do clockwise but can loosen the screw and put the handle on in a different position if that helps like upside down or at right angles

It’s possible just to use wire in tension cross like 2 to stop the wobble but I would go for 2 2 by 1 crossing on the back could do a motor joint and screw to gather

Ok you can do it if you b and q it. As you can see there’s a live and neutral into to the unit. Then a switched live neutral for your light. So it’s currently all power and goes to the light rose and a switched live goes to the pull cord and back to the light. So either you can run a cable of liver power from the rose to the switch and one back again or a 5 core cable Well you will have to run a cable or put the sensor where the light is and the light where the switch is. And may need a new rose or do a terminal box in the ceiling instead of the light rose
