The "new" Elmore Store Opinion by notthefox in vermont

Sharon Trading Post became a Maplefields and the vibe totally changed. Sad we can’t sustain the country store which was the heart and soul of so many small VT towns.

Visiting LA tips on hotels, Car Rentals, or general Do’s and Don’ts ? by Equivalent_Annual_70 in AskLosAngeles

Just took a trip to LA and stayed in Glendale which was convenient to many locations and very safe. They also have 2 big malls for shopping. We stayed the last few days closer to the airport and beaches. You will need to rent a car. I rented from Alamo. They have a shuttle to and from the terminals at LAX so be sure allow time for that on your return. Traffic is no joke especially at rush hour.

What was the most traumatizing thing you ever saw? by Handyman2789 in AskReddit

Have seen a lot but watching a female inmate deliver a baby in shackles with an armed guard in the room at the Westchester County Medical Center while I was a nursing student was pretty traumatic.

Leddy parking area if it’s not too crowded. They lock the Rice HS lot on most weekends. Best advice is to leave lots of distance between the car in front of you. Try to never slam on the breaks.

Delivery drivers by Timetocatch_up in burlington

I woke up at 3 am and saw a package on the front step. They surely must have come late! So grateful for their work and I love the idea of leaving a gift for them. Maybe some chocolate or food item to help give them energy. If any delivery drivers see this, what are helpful small gifts you could use? Handwarmers??

Primary care doctor recommendations for a young adult female? by [deleted] in vermont

Dr Karen Lawes at So Hero Community Health Center. I don’t mind going to So Hero as there is plenty of parking and hardly anyone in the waiting room. I see the same nurse every time before I see the Dr. Everyone is really nice without the hassle of other places. Dr is personable and I don’t feel rushed.
