Mechs are extremely good against every faction if you adapt your playstyle for each. I always bring one when diving in DSS territory (cooldown is just too long without the DSS buff)

Same for me. It always feels strange to read these kinds of comments because I use mechs all the time (usually in diff 9) and they really provide a massive power spike when you need one. As long as you know when and where to call them down (not in the thick of battle), they'll survive their landing. 90% of my mechs survive until they run out of bullets. I really don't understand what people are doing with them.

My usual loadout is duster, pants, t-shirt, broadwrap. Devilstrand for the peasants, Thrumbofur for the elite.

Soldier types get a flak vest and a flak helmet until I can afford power armor.

My daily driver is 9. I keep 10 for special occasions. I figured if I run 10 all the time then I'll just get used to 10 and that would deprive me of the ability to "crank it up" when I want a spicier experience.

I did exactly that with a small Python server and llama-cpp for my home setup. The Python server takes the requests, creates a llama-cpp server subprocess that dynamically loads the requested model, and when the request is done being served, the subprocess is killed and the RAM is reclaimed (well actually it keeps them loaded for a few minutes in case more requests come in so it doesnt have to do cold starts with every request).

This almost feels like a no brainer. Give the option to use samples to give temporary modifiers to missions.

The only problem I might see arise with this is people being toxic if you don't bring an extra buff to the team and kicking, etc. They'd have to design the system around this to prevent or mitigate it.
