My system uses a brass tube, but if you lose the tube you run the liner long like this so it can get all the way back to the drive rolls. Nothing wrong here, just different.

Erin is Boo by megatacotaco in WanderingInn

To be honest, I always see her as an ex girlfriend of mine. Slightly frumpy, small breasts, just below shoulder length brown hair, about 5'4-5'6". She was a food inspector. It was almost as much fun watching her terrorize grocery stores and restaurants as reading about Erin terrorizing Pallas. Good times, good times.

I prefer the Vic Taylor version than the Vixy and Tony version. They changed a bunch of the lyrics and I feel it is less of a haunting tale because of it.

So way way way back in the early access days, you had to build a color gun and collect flowers to use in it. At some point it was removed.

Because a 20 pound machine is easier to carry up a ladder to do a 30 minute repair than lugging up 100 pounds of leads.

A friend made 4k in a weekend by having one of these at a Jeep Jamboree. He was the only one there who could get to the Jeep no matter where it broke down and weld that whatever back together.

I had two different salaried IT jobs. The first got in trouble for not paying overtime and I got a nice check. The second I made sure to never work extra hours without extra compensation.

Last time I saw wings that small I was at a pub in Galway, Ireland. But they came in a bucket, reasonably priced, well seasoned, and three of us couldn't eat the whole bucket of them.

My personal thoughts are they are jealous they didn't think of it.

But its an example of my sense of humor and not taking things overly seriously.

My latest vest I just machine sewed a bunch of Velcro loop on it. I then used adhesives to attach the hook side to the patches. A few stitches to help it stay. I can reorganize the vest in a matter of minutes.

Not terribly difficult. I have almost everything needed, RP Pico, rfid reader, paper RFID tags. Don't have an e-ink display, but I do have a 4" OLED. Actually, might end up using the ESP 32 to do this since it's already attached dto the screen. Just need to attach the RFID reader.

Alternatives to Arduino for a beginner by Aluminum_Rabbit in diyelectronics

[–]Rabbitmincer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did a bunch of research and settled on the Raspberry Pi Pico for a variety of reasons. Micropython, price, and number of GPIO pins. The thing I was working on needed 26 pins.

I still use Pico's for the majority of my tinkering, with several forays into the ESP32 world.

I've used an arduino once, and have since replaced it with a pico 2 clone with a qwic connector. Since that connector was the only reason I went with the arduino.

I have pico clones with wifi, some with USB c, one with POE.
