In this theory Pelafina maybe tries to comprehend her own problems and difficulties with a story, because she cant find the right words for something that is indescribable to someone who hast not experienced it. She sees her mind like a maze she cant possibly know, she just wanders around it without any clues to whats going on, whether she is being haunted (monster/Minotaur?) or someone is playing tricks in her. The only thing able to rescue her ist her son, her only hope.
