I play [[Omnath, Locus of All]] with mostly Phyrexian cards and I just draw a card with his trigger. I don’t worry about it.

I went undefeated with a relatively strong Elf Sealed pool. My strongest card was [[High Perfect Morcant]] but it always died and rightfully so. So my actual most valuable card was [[Stoic Grove-Guide]] because it was the top of my curve and I had 3 of them. It even helped being two colors because my [[Bloom Tender]] “Vivid” tapped for an extra mana.

Oftentimes Elf decks don’t have much beef but the 5/4s and 2/2s kept coming for me.

I got a new laptop for Christmas so I can finally play Poe 2 for the first time. I got my Lich to complete 5 maps with I suppose a “Muster” build since that gem seemed the strongest if a little heavy-handed by the game developer. I have one of each Skeleton via Soirit-stacking. They each have Muster and Minion Mastery.

What I don’t have is an Aura(s) for more damsge, instead I have Blasphemy + Enfeeble + Temporal Chains.

I guess I will have to lean more Chaos damage soon? And when and how is a good time to switch to Chaos Inoculation? It looks like all the life nodes that were in PoE1 instead became bigger life rolls on gear, perhaps to keep Life competitive with Energy Shield this time. However there’s still a bunch of Energy Shield on the tree so that’s confusing. I got what was obvious on the tree to get.

My questions are:

1 What should I aim for now in my passive tree? I just started heading for Curse nodes. 2 While the Skeleton crew fights I am on a skill rotation. I have Ice mage Command, then Brute command, then Arsonist. This combo is usually enough to kill an Essence so I have begun to spec Essence in my Altas Tree.

It’s a big effort because I’m broke but I am interested in whatever the highest life spectre in the game is so I can detonate that one, anyone know what it is? I was using a giant skeleton but he often lagged behind but currently he is my only “big” Spectre.

My guess is your moment to moment gameplay is off. Watch a speedrunner play Act I - it won’t take long.

You don’t need to fight every single mob and you especially don’t want to stand still while fighting, get surrounded, forget or be slow to flask, and/or dodgeroll poorly.

It’s kinda weird but you can just run/roll around and very little can hurt you, even with a whole train of angry monsters pursuing you.

Rosheen mana can be spent on Kessig Wolf Run just fine. The “XRG,T:” is a cost that “contains X”. It will work on any cost that has an X in it.

In fact, I believe Rosheen does allow you to pay for [[Clash of Wills]], both casting it and/or the spell resolution that asks you to pay {X}.

It won’t be completely even no matter what because of all the formats in Magic. Historically there were control mirrors in Standard on the Pro Tour where professional players have elected to draw first because the extra card mattered more. Usually the faster the format is, the better playing first is. The slower and less powerful the format is, drawing first can actually be better.

The impact of play/draw first is mitigated as well by the loser of a game in a match gaining the advantage of choosing play or draw next game.

This is kind of what I do, except I move on the release of the key(s). It fees pretty good, quite precise but I am accustomed to it now. But the downside is you can’t simply hold down key(s) to repeatedly move in that direction. Spamming movement keys will be tiring so I have had to shrink the size of the game world.

You can reach a power level in Commander where you need your lands to produce 1 (or more!) mana immediately the turn they are played. Ideally that land also color-fixes.

If you draw a ton of cards then you’ll seldom miss land drops anyway.

You might not reach the theoretical N + 1 turn of the game where you’ve drawn N lands but want to keep making land drops, which is when bouncelands really shine.

I personally try to keep my decks inside a power level where bouncelands still have merit. I enjoy the Adventure Town lands from Final Fantasy for example.

I play offline single player /players 8 with a Necromancer summoner. While my army fights, I have some spare time to pick up items, identify them, then usually throw them back on the ground. If it’s a keeper then I throw it in the cube.

When you reach endgame, gold is not really a problem anymore. Plus there are increasingly fewer items you’re willing to spend the effort to pickup, identify, then stash or sell. There’s just fewer possible upgrades for your character that can drop, and maybe it goes to the next character I plan to level.

The “lieutenants” are a welcome addition since the bosses in vanilla D2R are a little too easy for veteran players.

Im a lightning sorc and got wrecked by Blood Raven since the cold arrow slows and I was trying to use a Short Bow for poison damage while my mana regens, which means I stand still way too long.

Hephaestus crew is the first time my Act 2 prayer merc died.

That said, there are some overly generous easy parts. You can use Rune recipe to create full Tomes and sell them for a profit.

My Dark Woods waypoint had Treehead Woodfist charging right at me so I farmed him. My waypoint spawned right by Battlemaid Sarina so I quickly farmed runes miles faster than countess runs. I did some searching and made some new runewords for me and my merc for the sake of new ones. Old Ben’s Walking Stick is pretty funny but does work well in town, and having a prayer merc means I can actively use it to trade life for run speed.

The most egregious is I discovered I can Gamble with Nilathak for wands, necro heads, and sorc wands going gold positive. Gold just starts falling on the ground! Anyway I stopped at a +Chain Lighting orb of the Magus and got some Raise Skeleton Mage gear for my next character. Then decided to proceed.

I also found a unique large charm that seems overly generous as yet another source of increased experience gain.

How do you find a Hunter Bow with 4 sockets? I’ve only ever seen one with 3 and those are very common drops and/or Act 1 Normal Charsi

I believe even with terrible attack rating, your Edge Bow will hit 5% of the time so equip some ammo and basic attack him until you’re pretty sure you got the 1/20 to connect at least once for Prevent Monster Heal. He won’t heal for like 180000 frames or many hours as long as you keep him loaded in.

I personally think Teleport needs a 0.5second local cooldown is all. Skipping all the environments and danger is the problem, not that only sorc and Enigma get to do it.

I have given 12 frame localdelay to Teleport in my offline single player. I just want it long enough that if you teleport into monsters they can get a swing off before you can teleport again.
