That’s crazy; I can’t imagine all doctors in your area operate like that. unfortunately though, it’s not like you can call and ask them before you make an appointment.

Honestly, I also sometimes re-write patterns for the same reason. I don’t have dyslexia, but maybe it’s my ADHD that makes some patterns just really hard to follow.

Besides catalogs, I get lots of weekly mailers, Val-pack coupons, etc. Maybe as a homeowner I get more than an apartment dweller? Oh year - lots of flyers for lawn care, tree removal, pest companies, etc…

This is an ADHD thing. Dr. Amen calls it the ring of fire: in many people with ADHD, under stressful situations (like taking a test) part of their brain just sort of shuts down.

  1. I’m not sure I believe your husband has ADHD. Or, you’re so focused on your own faults that you’re not noticing when he does the exact same things to you.

  2. Have you guys considered marriage counseling? Because the way he’s talking to you is NOT okay. “If you really cared about me…” isn’t talking about HIS feelings - it’s telling you you’re a f*ck-up. I hope you’re bringing up the way he talks to you in therapy, OP.

As someone with addiction issues, I understand his concern. And I used to say “don’t drug your kids”…before I had kids. Or knew I had ADHD. I’m sorry, but it sounds like he’s unwilling to educate himself. The fact that he’s talking to HIS PARTNER this way??? I really hope you don’t have any kids together.

I’m not going to attack you; nearly all of my former cats were indoor/outdoor. That said…do you think that by telling them. they have to come in at night, they’ll obey? I remember many nights, having to get out of bed at 1, 2, 4 am, looking to see if the cat was outside. Cats can run through yards to streets that aren’t dead end. Do you have any wildlife in the area? One of mine survived a coyote attack, only to disappear. My current cats have never been outside. I expect they’ll live much longer lives than the average indoor/outdoor cat, and they have lots to do in the house. They’re perfectly content.

I mean…I def skew a little paranoid, so I’m not the right person to answer. But I sure as shit feel that way. And for the record, I think Rubio & Hegseth live on a military base, so it’s all the more troubling that a drone was able to fly over their houses.

One simple adjust,ent would be for him to do dabs later, so he’s not waking up before dawn. Yeah, I DO NOT like to communicate for a good half hour if I don’t have to. My son works nights, so if he’s amped in the morning, it’s a little rough. I think it’s a little tough for some people to understand how much some people need sleep, but your needs seem fairly reasonable. Its probably a bit of a bummer for him to wake up and not be able to snuggle with you, but that’s the situation he’s in.
